Really surprised to see the negative reviews on here after my own experience.

I rodered two sofas which arrived last week but a couple of days later I noticed the arm of one of them was damaged. I called Tesco who said they would send a replacement and collect the other one three days later - better still on a Saturday so I was at home.

On the Friday they sent me a 3 hour time slot as always. On Saturday they called to say the driver's phone had gone down so he wouldn't be able to call me an hour before delivery as they usually do. I thought this was an extra detail of service that not every company, especially on as big as Tesco, would have bothered with.

Sent them an email to say I was happy with the service and they called me two hours later to thank me for it!

Obviously in a perfect world the sofa wouldn't have been damaged to start with but I've had a lot of stuff from Tesco Direct before without any problem - their delivery options are better than most - and the test of an organisation is how they deal with their customer's problems. I can't fault them, unlike Argos (*holding a grudge*) who continue to tell me that giving customers the wrong stuff is part of their policy!!
