rang up the shop which had the 2nd hand phone i was after, asked if it was in box and had all the bits, he said yes an was very helpful. i then bought the phone via paypal and it came 2 days later .. super. good service and quick and phones in real good condition. think it was from a branch near stoke,

The site: Cash Generator have a good website but could benefit if there were a few more photos showing the detail as the reason I would use this site is because there isn't a physical shop near me so I can't inspect any items properly. I think it would also benefit from having more information regarding condition on some items as the majority of the items are second hand and quality is important. The site is easy to look around and there are plenty of options for some items (ie PSPs) The prices: I can't say this for the whole website but overall they seem quite reasonable on items. Delivery: Fast and just what you want although a little bit pricey (5.99 roughly). But I do like fast delivery so you can dismiss the cost. My experience: I was looking for a white PSP slim and lite which is a particularly recent model. I found one at a good price and emailed the shop (Wallasley) about whether it came with a charger and they got back to me quickly and said that it did. I received said PSP only to find it was actually an older version and the condition it was in was much worse than described. But it did work, I will give them that. I rang them up and explained the problem and the woman on the phone admitted that they sent out the wrong one because they couldn't find the one in the picture. This was a little annoying considering I would rather they told me they couldn't find it and refund my money instead of sending what I didn't want. I sent back the PSP because I didn't want to wait for it to be exchanged. They have had it for approximately a fortnight and I haven't heard anything about a refund. I have since opened a dispute with Paypal to get my money back. I received an email from customer services regarding my recent purchases and they suggested I review their site. I knew as my experience wasn't great that it would be a rather negative one so I did email them a lengthy message regarding the matter, unfortunately I have heard nothing from them either. Conclusion: It is a good website no doubt about it but you have to be wary about which shop you purchase from. I would rather purchase from a shop which is close by so if I needed to go back in person I could but surely the whole point of having a website is so you have access to all of the shops. I had good communication with the other shops which also had PSP's and I regret not purchasing from instead. I would give them another chance in the future but I will steer clear of the particular shop I used.

Excellent price for guitar and gig bag on website £75 ( prices in cash converter shops generally outrageously high). Almost new guitar -delivery time brilliant. Excellent service.Would use again and recommend to others..

I saw this item on the website and purchased it for a very reasonable price. This was my first experience of using 'Cash Generator' and I would certainly use them again. It is not a company I would normally have considered, but it was easy to purchase the item and it arrived very quickly,sooner than I expected. Saw this product advertised and wanted one for my grandson. I sent for it as it was under £20. When it came I immediately downloaded songs from itunes snd gave it to my grandson. The ipod works very well and he is thrilled with it. I cannot see any marks or scratches on it. I will be back looking for more items.

i bought an Xbox game for my son which we thought was a good price to pay £6.99 and the delivery was £1,99 which i thought was a bit much for delivery, anyway when the game arrived it was in very poor condition lots of scratches and the case was very dirty cracked and also in poor condition there was no instruction book ether, it did say on web site (in good condition) so that was not true so this will be the last time i will buy any games from here as you cant trust what they say about the condition. very disappointed with the purchase.

I purchased a range of DS games at some great prices it was great when the first one arrived within a few days well it was 2 days which was excellent BUT then we started getting emails saying that this item is nolonger available ? this went on for the next few items that I thought I had bought . The shops should realy check that they have these in stock and remove them off there online site as soon as they are nolonger available but NO they wait until we have purchased them and then tell you there aint none left But are still there online when you check so many days later again ?? Overall I have been happy with items I have purchased online well the ones that arrived and delivery has been briliant . Cost of postage varies from diferent stores I dont know if this is because of how they post it but some DS games are only 99p to post yet others are £1.99 yet all the same size and weight ? Ime happy with the online stores and have already ordered several more items and will carry on doing so.

Picked up a sony memory stick pro 8 GB for a total bargain price result works perfectly well in my sony dsc r1 and i have had some excellent results from it.

Initial service was good, but after a week had passed and still no delivery I needed to contact the specific store I ordered from. First by e-mail, when I was told that the employee who deals with internet orders wasn't in until the following Monday. So I waited until the following Monday and phoned them only to be told that the guy who deals with internet orders wasn't in. Again. I e-mailed a different customer support address my problem and had the issue solved in about a day. It turned out that my items were left ignored in a packaging bay, however when they were found I received an apology and both items were sent to me via next day delivery. Condition of the guitars however did not reflect their description on the website, which was "good". To the layman, a guitar with all six strings and no obvious damage (a gaping hole, perhaps) seems fine, but if you're looking to play the thing correctly, it's a whole different kettle of fish. One of the guitars required an entire day of cleaning, replacement of hardware, electronics cleaning/replacement and was missing several easily replaceable though nonetheless important bits & pieces (which, luckily, I am able to do myself), the Floyd Rose tremolo posts also needed re-setting I needed to take this guitar to a tech to have the frets stoned and levelled as well as have the tremolo claw screw-holes filled, re-drilled and replaced. The cost of this work was more than what the instrument cost to buy. The other guitar did not even work when plugged in and needed a lot of soldering work as many wires in the electrics cavity were disconnected or held together with tape - this is easy enough, but makes you wonder if some Cash Generator stores even try the instruments before they sell them on. Some obviously do not even employ someone with a basic knowledge of guitars. This will not be the case countrywide, obviously I bought these guitars 1. expecting to do work on them and 2. for parts, but if you're considering buying a guitar online to play without having to get a tech involved, I'd stay away.

Having never visited a Cash Generator store on used their online service I was not sure what to expect. I couldn't have been more pleased. The customer service from the guy in the Crewe shop that I spoke to was fantastic. The guitar was in exactly the condition described and they included a case for it. Delivery was very quick - only 2 days. I am delighted and will definitely use again.

Managed to find some great bargains on this site including the ipod touch I bought for less than £50! Ordered Sunday night and got an instant confirmation e-mail that night. 10 am Monday got a personal e-mail confirming that it had been posted and included the Tracking number. Arrived Tuesday morning and got a follow up e-mail. Great service and some great deals. (Oh and the ipod was as described and worked perfectly!)
