We ordered an expensive gas range cooker to be supplied and fitted from Glotech, but when it arrived their engineer informed us that he wasn’t technically qualified to work on our gas meter. Four days before Christmas we found ourselves in the position of having no working cooker. We made four calls to them between 8.30am and 12.00 asking for help, but each time was told they were in a meeting to discuss the situation with the MD.
We eventually got another company to do the installation – at an additional cost of £175. We never heard back from Glotech!
They don’t care once they have taken your money…to be avoided at all costs.
