We ordered a range cooker and hood from appliance planet because of a deal they had where we could get upto 40% off the hood if we ordered together. This was the best deals we could find on the internet for both items. You had to ring for a voucher code that you could add to your online basket. We were given a code over he phone and told it was good for 48 hours. So we decided to purchase the following day. However, the code didn't work with the new basket the following day. We emailed for another code but this took several hours to come through and again didn't work because we had a new basket, plus the amount of money off was different from the one we received over the telephone. Decided to try again the following day on the telephone and was given another code which was even less that the first two. I decided to give up but one last attempt and the first original code worked and we got more that the 40% off that was advertised. So we went with it. Was concerned that with all the ordering hassle we would have problems with delivery. But the items were delivered within 14 days and we were kept informed about the date of delivery and the time of delivery. In fact we were contacted 30 minutes before to say they were on their way. Not had cooker fitted yet, but the packaging is perfect and the delivery guys opened up the front to check for any immediate scratches or cracked glass. There were none.

My good looking cooker was delivered on the specified day in the allocated time slot of 2 hours drivers were very pleasant and put my good looking cooker where I wanted it to go. My good looking cooker is very robust and looks the part in my kitchen, easy to use and the manual simple to understand, I cannot find anything I don't like, you even emailed me before despatch to advise me that the packaging was not 100% and emailed me a picture for me to okay the packaging. I had all the details I required through your website, Dimensions, colour etc My good looking cooker was a bit pricey but well worth it.

This is a specific component required for the Smeg extractor hoods (mine is the Smeg KSEC61X) if you intend to use it in induction mode - which is annoying as I've noticed other cooker hoods can use a generic charcoal filter. What I would say is the box seems to be simply a plastic container with charcoal inside - so I see no reason why in the future you couldn't take the old charcoal out and replace it with new charcoal, instead of buying a new filter altogether - which I feel is pretty expensive for what it is!

I am very pleased with the excellent customer service during the ordering process. Delivery arrived on time within the two hour time slot and I would certainly order from this Company again in the future.

Thank goodness the website insisted on using 150mm ducting for the cooker hood. It makes a huge difference to the noise although local installers and builders didn't believe this until it was installed. The item ordered arrived quickly even though it was between Christmas and New Year. It was a bit of a shame that we had to order a different colour due to the one we wanted not having been in stock for some time. It turned out that when the description said 1.5m ducting it really meant the absolute linear maximum was 1.5m. The distance we had to cover was just a bit longer and we had to order a longer flexible duct which cost another £14. It would have been helpful to have a mix and match ducting kit. We would have bought the cooker hood too but it was out of stock.

Delivery was on time. 2 scratches on integral appliance, have been offered compensation or replace side of appliance. Happy to accept compensation. Would buy from this company again.

I researched all the online retailers for a new Rangemaster. Appliance Planet's website had all the product information I needed and well presented. They were transparent on price including delivery and also offered the best price. The service from ordering to product delivery was superb. I chose to order via telephone and receive text updates and it worked brilliantly. I did not have to queue unnecessarily for the order or any updates. Would strongly recommend! The product arrived as expected with delivery time slots confirmed the night before. I would always suggest that they provide a delivery man phone number, so you have an idea of where in the slot you should expect delivery. This is an area I would like to see improved, but I am not aware that anyone else offers this either. I was able to arrange for my plumber to disconnect the old range and connect the new on the same day, so this worked well. One last suggestion. I would have happily paid extra for a delivery team that would have handled the uninstall and install on their own. This wasn't an option and I understand the difficulty, but would be a great service if available.

Appliance Planet offered the item I required at the cheapest price. I was worried about the company achieving the delivery time scale promised when I read that the product was out of stock. However, I need not have worried. Delivery was on time and I am delighted with my purchase.

Extractor Hood competitively priced, delivered very promptly and with free no delivery charge. What's not to like?! I would certainly order from Appliance Planet again.

Starting from searching on the website right up to delivery the process was simple and hassle free. The website is so easy to navigate and very informative. The product was well packaged and delivered on time. It couldn't be simpler.

I started off looking for a 150mm flexible hose ducting kit. The expanded parts diagram on the website wasn't totally clear so I called to ask what is the method of attaching the hose to the hood outlet. I was assured that jubilee connectors were included in the kit. In the event, they weren't. The larger surprise was to discover that a 150mm kit requires a 170mm hole in the wall. Having failed to find any hire shop with a core drill anywhere near this size, I decided I would have to step down to a 125mm hose. However, before ordering I called Customer Services to find out the hole size required so as to verify in advance that I could obtain a suitable core drill. The Customer Services guy talked to his colleagues who advised that the hole should be a 'few mm' larger than the hose diameter. I eventually convinced him that since a 150 mm hose required a 170mm hole then it was not a 'few mm' . He eventually agreed to open a 125mm package and took a photo of the instruction leaflet and e-mailed it to me. This finally confirmed that a 125 mm kit required a 145mm hole. Knowing that I could get a core drill of that size, I proceeded to order my second kit. Out of this experience I would suggest: (1) Appliance Direct make .pdf files of the instruction sheets available on line; (2) the Customer Service guys have better product training on even such basic items as ducting kits. Despite all of this, the kits are on reasonable quality, they arrived a day after purchasing, and the shipping charges were very reasonable.

The online ordering system was quick and efficient and delivery option were great. I had shopped around for few weeks and appliance planet were consistently cheap. Took the hassle out of ordering, would recommend.

Purchased a Hotpoint Larder Fridge RLAAV22P online. Smooth Transaction. Was contacted to arrange a delivery date. Again, no issues. Received an email and Text message the day prior to delivery to confirm that the delivery was indeed still planned as agreed. Item arrived on the date and time agreed.
