Seemed to good to be true and it was. Over two weeks later, still haven't received my order. No response to my first two emails to customer service. Took over 24 hours to receive a response to my third and they just fobbed me off. Have had to raise a dispute case with PayPal in order to get my money back. Not sure if this is a legit site and the owners are just incompetent, or if I've been scammed :(

I bought my item prior to reading some negative remarks about the onebigdot and must confess to thinking I had made a mistake.

I ordered from the states and within a week of payment I received my purchase.

tracked from usa to uk London with DHL tracking. once it reached London I got a new tracking number and before I had this the parcel was at my doorstep.

absolutely incredible delivery time, a great communications team (e mail)and a perfect working product £30 cheaper than here in the UK.

I will certainly recommend to friends and wont hesitate to use this company again.

I used onebigdot to source an item that was proving very elusive here in the UK. The US manufacturer was very poor, not delivering according to their own predicted dates. Onebigdot kept me fully informed throughout and offered a substitution which was delivered in a good timescale. The idea of global distribution for smaller items is great - keep it going!

Emails were always answered promptly.

The One Big Dot are a company who specialise in importing goods from USA at your request, paying the duty and postage and delivering it to your door. They make their profits because goods in the US tend to be much cheaper and despite import duty/postage etc its still less expensive than buying the same item in the UK.

I bought a Stoney Point Tripod (much cheaper than over here) and it was delivered quickly but unfortunately it had a problem. Not an issue I posted it back to The One Big Dot who paid my postage and promptly delivered another one which had the same problem. It turned out that it was a design fault and nothing to do with One Big Dot.

Anyway cutting a long story short the issues were resolved to my satisfaction with much help form One Big Dot. They where very understanding, answered emails promptly and took a very pragmatic view on a problem that was Stoney Points and not their own and I am not out of pocket at all.

So in short I took a chance on The One Big Dot company who up until now I had not heard of and had a very satisfactory experience with them. Highly recommended.
