From the latest catalogue, I ordered an expanding hose (page 5).
When the product arrived I found that not only was the product fitted with all plastic end fittings, but with the same fitting on both ends of the hose, so that it would not fit onto a standard hose without modification. The much vaunted in the advert brass fittings were nowhere to be seen.

I modified the hose to fit a standard hose, but decided to take Home Shopping Selections to task over their miss representation of the product.

Their one line reply was to tell me that I could not send it back as I had modified it, which was NOT what I had written to them about. They were not in the least interested in the fact that they had offered one item and supplied something both cheaper in quality but also, as delivered, unusable.
