I ordered a kit with free delivery which arrived quickly. I was disappointed because it was not the quality that I had expected, so I returned the item using the Freepost label provided.

The refund arrived quickly, but a delivery amount was deducted from the return. I had not expected a delivery charge because the item qualified for free delivery and the return was Freepost, and nothing that I received from Sewandso after placing the order made any mention of a delivery charge.

I'm not saying that returns shouldn't incur a charge, but I don't think I am being unreasonable in expecting to be advised of a charge before it is made.

This is the first time that I have purchased anything from this company.

My order arrived within two days with all items.

I will use this company again.

Poor customer service. Always something wrong with the order. Rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. Hope they go out of business.

Very poor customer service, unhelpful, rude and unprofessional staff. Incompetent. Over the last 10 orders they managed to get 1 right!!!! Manager simply ignorant and not interested. If there was another company in the UK with the same assortment of goods I would never order from them again and hope they will go to administration.

Have used many times and never had a problem, ordered twice in 2 days 1st order went to the wrong address twice even after phoning and emailing correct address, funny but 2nd order arrived next day at the correct address!!! Phoned again with regards to 1st order, she told me that they were all in stock and would be sent out straight away, verified my address- 5 days later no parcel!!!! Another phone call - parcel never sent - products not in stock!! Really! I give up, you have my contact details but couldn't be bothered to phone me or email me telling me this!! Sorry but won't be using again!

Although I have ordered with SewandSo in the past, on this occasion Sewandso customer service was extremely bad. They have no idea on how to deal with their customers. I ordered some products and they blocked my order as they seem to check my payment which has already been paid. When I call to ask what happened with my order they do not answer saying they do not know. I will not go into staff members but there was one lady in particular who was extremely unhelpful and thought she knew everything about everything but am afraid she did not. Due to this service, I have recently ordered via other websites say amazon and found that there are some products from other retailers much cheaper then what they sell.

I am still waiting on a number of products due this issue. Considering the money has left my account and been paid, there should not be such a big issue. I will never be ordering from sewandso again.

I have been shopping with Sew and So for several years. Whilst I can't find fault with the user friendly website, the fantastic array of products and the speedy delivery. In recent times (most notably today) I have found the call centre staff to be quite unhelpful. It seems as though they believe the market has beeen cornered! Needless these experiences have encouraged me to place orders with other online retailers. As they seem to have become more successful over the years they appear to have lost their personal touch, their desire to achieve a sale and their drive for customer satisfaction. Making use of other UK based stitching websites such as "The Patchwork Rabbit" has also revealed there are considerable savings to be made elsewhere epsecially with cross stitch charts, linen and overdyed threads. Even with postage to be taken into consideration certain US webstites like "Sticth and Frog" have proved to be much cheaper!

This is not the first time I have used sewandso. and once again their friendly efficient service is to be recommended. My order arrived the following day and the 2 items out of stock arrived the day after that. Now happy stitching. Thank you at sewandso.

I came across this company whilst searching for embroidery thread. I ordered 3 reels of the DMC cotton and a mini craft light. The postage was reasonable and the items arrived the very next day. The items were just as per the description and lovely shades. The thing that most impressed me was the prompt customer service and also reasonable postage. I have used other companies for fabrics, threads etc and have never received such a good and quick service. I ordered some machine feet with another company and they arrived 6 weeks later. I definitely recommend this company for their value for money goods and prompt customer service. Very well done to them. Keep up the good work.

I had never heard of sewandso.co.uk before but with my son starting school I needed some name tapes to label up his schoolwear. These are available everywhere at various prices, but even with the £1 P&P charge, this was the cheapest place I could find. After a quick search for customer reviews, I decided it was worth a punt, and I'm really pleased I did. I ordered at 7pm on Mon, it was despatched on Tues, I received on Weds. With speedy service & competitive prices, I would would definitely use this company again & recommend others to as well
