After shopping at Internet Hobbies and being disappointed by the lack of customer service I looked else where. I came across Model Train Stuff and found a very comprehensive website for Model Trains with live stock balances.

At the moment I'm waiting on the arrival of my fourth order which going on previous orders should be here about next Friday, on average 9 days from placement of order to receiving the goods in Canberra, Australia.

The range and prices are great/terrible - I think their great the Minister For Finance thinks their terrible, but then I don't like the prices at all the Quilting shops she visits. Taking into account the cost of postage to Australia I'm still way infront cost wise compared to buying here in Australia.

One feature I have enjoyed is the out of stock situation where you click on "Email Me" when new stock of an item is available, used it several times. I make up a wish list and if an item has no stock then I tick the email me box and when I receive the email I move all the items to my shopping cart and place the order.

I have not been disappointed with any of the orders I have placed, can only hope they maintain this standard until I've completed my layout, if I ever finish it that is and find I don't need a new engine or carriage, bit like Quilting, you never finish.
