I'm looking at the AMD Abyss which was recommended by Computer Shopper but can't see any mention at all of an Ethernet port. Surely it comes with one? (Not everybody uses wireless, and that doesn't seem to be built in anyway.)

I can tell you with certainty, that my computer is hard wired. I really never did want to use WIFI since hard wire is by far more reliable. Even if the machine did not have an ethernet connection, they are relatively cheap and easy to install via a small card to the motherboard. You are also right about no WIFI, but I installed that on my machine quite cheaply also via a very small dongle. If you have difficulty with tech, then speak to Palicomp with regard to what connections on the motherboard there are, they are very helpful. I hope you are satisfied with this reply, and that you have many hours of pleasure with your new computer. (Palicomp Recommended also by me)

I asked palicomp direct and they confirmed that they forward all cables, sli bridge etc. I took the plunge and sure enough everything was supplied. I am very happy with the machine, they got a different case for me,it was well packed and delivered on time.
