Contacted a man by land line on Christmas Eve, who could not have been more helpful. Having supplied Acer part number identification , as promised he got back to me within 2 days offering a used Toshiba alternative. An email exchange of bank details permitted an on line bank transfer of purchase price which included first class delivery. I received the replacement item the following morning. Swapped the front plate and set the rear mounting bracket, installed and set up first time inside 15 minutes.

I was particularly impressed with the postal delivery following a speedy location of a suitable replacement. I wish to add that the item was extremely well protected for the short postal journey. There are other web site operations offering parts from the far east, but suspecting a time penalty and being under confident to deal with non UK based companies; dealing with him met all my requirements for a fast repair. What he said would happen.. did happen. It does not get better than that in my experience and of course I will be using his services again without hesitation.Regards IJM.

I contacted Laptop Guts and a few other companies looking to source a few small rubber screw covers for my laptop. The only person to reply was him and that was within three hours on a Sunday afternoon.
