In mid-March I ordered 7 items online as my city has no Zara brick and mortar store. They arrived but at the time my husband and I were sick for quite a few days and it took me a while to get back to normal. Then we had to deal with a roof leak in our new house which involved replacement of cabinets, etc. so we were quite busy and new clothes weren't high on my priority list. I finally got around to trying on the items and found that almost all of them were too small. I kept one item and was going to exchange another for a bigger size and return the rest but couldn't figure out how to do this transaction online (website is terrible). I finally called Zara and discovered that they calculate the 30 days of your return window from the day it leaves the warehouse, NOT the day you receive it. I missed that deadline by 10 freaking days and they were telling me I was stuck with $375 worth of clothes that didn't fit. The woman then asked me if it was my first order with Zara and I said yes. She then said she was going to submit a request for a return exception and she would get back to me within 24-48 hours (a common thread on here). Well, that never happened and when I called their number they were closed for the weekend. I will have to resume this fight tomorrow but I find this company disgusting in the way they conduct business and will absolutely never, ever order from them again. I usually shop there when I'm in Europe and I won't be doing that anymore either.
