My wife ordered 2 dresses from this company,1 of the dresses was unacceptable, it was a sequin decorated dress and a large amount of the sequins were either fallen off or falling off, the seams of the dress were out of line,in short the dress was unwearable.

The company was contacted, they asked for photographs, they then said they could not clearly see the faults on the photographs, through out communication with the company they flatly refused to even supply a address so that the garment could be returned for there inspection, in there last communication they stated that the the costs of returing the garment would have to be paid by ourseleves, that they were sure this would be economicaly unviable, that the dress would probabley become lost and that that would be our responsability,and that there would be a very long wait for a refund if there was a refund. AND still refused to provide an address to return the garment to.

My advise to any one considering ordering from this company,,, shop else where.

I ordered my dress in march and read the terms that the dress would take 37 days to tailor and 1-3 days to get the dress delivered i have never ordered from the Internet before and was very panicy about the website as i had read some of the negative reviews so i started to worry it was due to arrive on the 19th of April however did not come so we got in contact by live chat and also email this triggered the company as they said the dress would be delivered on Monday and indeed it was!i was so happy the dress was as exactly how it looked on the website perfect i thank shiningdress for making such a beautiful dress!everything was posotive apart from the 3 extra days wait!

I have been dealing with shining dress since January and all i can say is TERRIBLE!!!

I ordered a dress for my sisters wedding at the end of March - the incompetent people in CHINA may I add not the uK promised me that it would be with me in "plenty of time" - the wedding has been and gone and I am STILL waiting!!!

I have now had to involve my solicitor as a month ago I demanded a refund only to be told that - yes' they are dealing with the matter and I should receive it soon. I have been told today that the order has been dispatched and that I will receive it soon!!!

I have no idea if I will ever get my refund - but I wanted to write this and any other review on this company that I can so that nobody else does the same mistake and fall for this!!!!

I ordered some dresses from this company, and received a very nice customer service support. The people on live chat are superb and are always willing to help with any question no matter how small or silly it may seems. Initially, I was discouraged by what some people are saying about this company but as I exercised patience, all transactions went fine and well. Some issues came up along the way but I was compensated for the inconveniences by 30% discount on the value of my goods. Apart from the long processing time, I love the products I got from Shiningdress. The dresses were of good quality, cheap, really nice, and perfect for me. It is quick, easy and light to wear. I will definitely recommend this company to any of my friends that wish to buy things from the online store. I really love this company at the end of it all

I bought my bridesmaid dresses from this website at the last minute as I read all the good reviews.

When the dresses arrived

1/ the material was of poor quality

2/ There was loose threading

3/ The sequins were falling on the floor

I contacted them immediately so that i could return the dresses and buy some new ones as quickly as possible.

In their website it says that if a customer is unsatisfied they can return their items. They also say they are a Uk based retailor but the dresses arrived from china.

They first asked me to send them photographs which i did. Then they said that as i would have to pay for the delivery and high tax rate for return they would offer me a 10% discount and i should keep the dresses and get them fixed by a tailor. The dresses cost 312 pounds so obviously i refused. it would cost more than that to buy some new dresses which i will have to do. They keep trying to increase the discount offer to 40% now but theyre refusing to allow me to return the dresses or give me an address to return them. Theyve stopped replying to my emails now so ive basically given up on ever getting my money back but i would like to warn anybody who wants to go shopping there, dont expect to get your money back if you dont like the dress and dont trust all the good reviews. (p.s. urdress.co.uk is part of the same company)

I enjoyed my purchases and am very pleased they arrived in a timely manner. The dress I ordered are really nice and comfortable. I am pleased with my purchase and recommend this website to anyone who likes discounted prices.

I can't imagine shopping anywhere else ever for evening gowns or party dresses. Especially since i am a curvy girl, it is good to know that i can get my dresses for such an affordable price. I have purchased 2 items so far and i am in the process of buying my bridemaid dress as well!
