I bought a tent from Blacks that was made by them. It broke on its second outing from ordinary use. It wasn't even windy. Blacks 'inspected' it. ( It was returned in a few days and did not appear to have even been taken out of the tent bag). There was a generic note from JD sports saying the tent was broken through 'accidental damage'. Presumably they have some sort of ability to communicate with inanimate objects to make that decision. And that was it. No offer of a refund, no offer to repair it or replace it. No number to call. Basically, they're saying, 'you've just lost £130, deal with it'.
Blacks used to be a great company, but they don't even remotely resemble who they used to be anymore. Avoid at all costs!
