Great Shop.
Our first purchase with Ladybugs. Couldn't be happier. Great price & great service. Shop was busy when we arrived but staff apologised for the wait and were very attentive. Full demonstration of products. Staff really know their stuff. Shopped here on recommendation from friends. One friend recently had an issue with her product. This was dealt with swiftly and efficiently. Hopefully we won't need to test this out but good to know just in case. Would recommend.

Very Disappointing Service
We ordered some Boori furniture from the Ladybugs shop as it is local to where we live. When myself and my husband placed the order in the shop with the manager we specifically said several times that we required assembly for these items. We told her my husband had a bad back and I would be heavily pregnant so there was no way we would be able to carry and assemble such large pieces of furniture ourselves. We were told this would cost £60 and that delivery of the items was free of charge.
After arriving several weeks after the 5 weeks that I was told by Ladybugs, the delivery men were completely unaware the we required the items to be assembled. They contacted there head office who contacted Boori, both of whom said the store had not requested assembly of the items. I desperately tried to telephone Ladybugs several times but they did not answer the phone. After speaking to the head office of the delivery firm (the delivery drivers said this was not the first time they had issues with deliveries from Ladybugs) they eventually agreed that they would assemble the items for me at a cost of £35 (much cheaper than the £60 Ladybugs had already charged me!).
When I contacted Ladybugs to discuss what had happened and reclaim the £60 they had charged me they said they’d look in to it and get back to me. After hearing nothing I went in to the shop. The lady I spoke to wasn’t the manager but she said she had spoken to the manager who remembered myself and my husband placing the order and discussing whether we required assembly. She said she thought we didn’t which I couldn’t believe as we had made it very clear it was essential for us. I was told that the £60 I had been charged was the delivery fee. I pointed out that the website states these items are delivered free of charge and a delivery fee was never discussed when the order was placed. When I asked how much the shop would charge for assembly they avoided answering the question (however this is shown to be £60 on the website). I was also told that I must not have ticked the box on the Boori order form which was completed by the manager. When I asked to see the order form which I signed I was told they no longer had it and I would have to contact Boori for it (this despite being told the order is emailed through to Boori so the shop should keep hold of the original form). On the third time of asking to see the form the shop eventually emailed it to me. There was no tick box on the form as they claimed, simply a comment that delivery and assembly needs to be arranged when the shop contacts Boori. Ladybugs showed me the email sent to Boori and they had not requested assembly. Despite it being very clear that Ladybugs were at fault here and putting me through a very stressful situation when I’m heavily pregnant, they still deny all blame and responsibility. They are refusing to refund my £60 and have been extremely unhelpful and rude. I will never being using the shop again and would recommend that anyone who wants there items to be delivered on time and stress free to avoid Ladybugs!
Agree too. Disgusting how they can get away with treating people like this when they're only weeks from giving birth! Should be an enjoyable and stress free time, not having to deal with bad service like this!!
Agreed. Awful service!

Great Service
We have recently purchased our first babies Bugaboo Pram from Ladybugs. Firstly their price was the best we could find. Then we googled their reviews which were excellent. I have to say we couldn't agree more with what we've read. After placing our order online we were contacted immediately and given a choice of dates for delivery to suit us. Our delivery arrived on time and our pram is perfect. I had a few questions regarding the assembly of the pram which I emailed to Ladybugs one evening. To my surprise my emails were answered 'out of hours' and all my questions answered.
A fantastic shopping experience from start to finish.
I'll be recommending Ladybugs to my friends and will use again.

Disappointed With The Service!
Firstly, the delivery company used by Ladybugs was appalling. They failed to deliver on the day they said they'd deliver. Claiming that they rung the buzzer but no one was in and left a note. I was in ALL DAY and never heard the buzzer or found any note. Worst of all is that ladybugs did not believe me the customer but sided with the delivery company which is very unprofessional of them.
Secondly, the cocoon which came with our bugaboo bee pram package had a tear in it. After finally managing to agree a replacement for this I sent off the cocoon via parcel force which cost £11.99 (this was the only method the post office would accept). Ladybugs agreed they would refund the postage, however, when I mentioned the cost they said I should have folded the cocoon in half and then sent it 2nd class royal mail. I was not told this initially (to fold the cocoon in half so that it would be accepted as 2nd class royal mail postage) therefore I did not know. I am still in the process of trying to get my refund back for the postage!!!!
In conclusion, I found the whole process with ladybugs to be a huge hassle! I also found it strange that I always had to be the one chasing them (e.g. regarding whether they'd received the cocoon, regarding the refund etc).
I would not recommend Ladybugs baby to anyone, especially when pregnant and trying to lead as much of a stress free life as possible!!!
It was refunded on the 26th June. But that is not the point, initially you refused to refund the £11.99 postage as you said I did not fold the cocoon and send it 2nd class mail. I did not do this as I was given no instruction from you to package the cocoon this way. Unless I worked for Royal Mail how would I know this?
Secondly, you should support your customer rather than the delivery company who are clearly misleading you and are incompetent. I know this because when they finally delivered the goods they pressed Flat 11 instead of my flat, luckily I saw them from my office and let them in!!!
Hi,
The refund was processed on 19/06/14. It can take up to 2 working days to show in your account depending on your bank but I would expect it to of shown by 24/06/14.
I obviously can't comment on whether the driver did or did not attempt delivery that day we can only listen to both sides and try and rectify the issue. We did keep in constant contact with them though to ensure the same mistakes were not made and you received your delivery next working day.
Ladybugs
The refunded was not refunded on the day this review was left. I have proof of this on my bank statement.
Also, the delivery company DID NOT leave a calling card and DID NOT attempt delivery as I was home ALL DAY and my office is by the main window so I can see everyone who comes and goes. There was no delivery person there that day. Our block of flats is clearly labelled/named and unless someone is blind, there is no way that the flat cannot be easily found.
I am extremely disappointed with your response and lack of professionalism.
Thank you for your review and comments. I am aware that you were apprehensive about your delivery due to a previous bad experience with another company where your goods were stolen.
As I am sure you are aware, when you contacted us regarding your delivery not arriving on the Friday as expected we contacted the delivery company immediately. We were told that they had attempted delivery and had left a calling card. I believe you live in a block of flats and these can sometimes be problematic when it comes to deliveries. We kept in constant contact with the delivery company and yourself and spoke to the driver to ensure that your delivery did arrive next working day.
With regards to the refund of postage. This was refunded in full within 24 hours of receiving the returned item and on the day your review was left.
We apologise again for any inconvenience this has caused.

Great Customer Service!
I came across Ladybugs when searching for a good package deal on the Bugaboo Buffalo and Maxi Cosi Pebble (having been disappointed with the service offered at the large chain stores). Although not in my area, I emailed Ladybugs who got back to me extremely quickly and were able to answer all the queries I had (...plus the package deal they had available was amazing!). I was able to pay by card over the phone and was sent confirmation by email. A delivery date was made (and adhered to - much unlike our experience with a large baby retailer!) and we are so pleased with our purchase.
The service we received from Ladybugs from start to finish was second to none. I will definitely be recommending to others!

Great Prices And Helpful Staff
I ordered a lollipop lane moses basket online which was at a super price.
Unfortunately I was then emailed to say it was showing as out of stock.
However, I was later contacted by a member of staff to say that there were in fact 2 in the warehouse if I still wished to proceed with the order. I was so pleased as not only was I getting the basket I wanted I felt the staff had really gone that extra mile to contact me. The delivery was extremely swift with the goods arriving the very next day.
I was really pleased with the prices, customer service and delivery and would not hesitate to shop with Ladybugs again.
I only wish I lived near the store so I could pop by to try out the new Silvercross buggy and offer my repeat custom!

Great Offers & Fabulous Service
I love shopping at beautiful independent shops!
I saw the pram I wanted at John Lewis, we stood around looking for an assistant for over 30 minutes until eventually gave up and decided to find another shop that we could get better service.
I think that spending the best part of 1K on a pram & carseat is rather expensive and having good customer service is essential. We found an advert for Ladybugs by random. I was so happy to find this beautiful little shop.
The girls at Ladybugs really know their products, giving demos of how the prams work, it almost feels like having a private shopping experience.
I think Ladybugs could do with a few more little £10 and under items for gifts.
Sunday opening would be AMAZING. John Lewis is always packed, I work during the week, and Saturdays I always spend taking the older children to their clubs.

Do You Need To Know What You Need (and Need To Know)? I Did!
Ladybugs is just the best place to go when you are really not sure about baby 'stuff'. When both my daughter and daughter-in-law found they were pregnant I 'tried' to look at what things they would need, but it is a long time (25 years to be precise!) since I needed to look at baby things and the range of 'stuff' and the choices were just bewildering, not to mention expensive! That is where Sarah and her staff at Ladybugs came into their own. They willingly spent 2 hours going through was was needed, what was really an optional extra (despite what the marketing hype said!) and what might be needed later, but was not of immediate concern. They gave us honest views about everything that we looked at, allowed the girls to 'test' buggies (prams!) in the shop (tall daughter-in-law, not so tall daughter!) and went through baby safety issues in detail. They were also willing to answer any questions - no matter how silly.
We bought the Bugaboo system, a Silver Cross cot and the Maxi Cosy car seat from them. I know that we could have got these in the 'price match' that John Lewis offers, but I what was of real value to me was talking to someone who knows what they are talking about and is able to offer impartial advice. Sarah even 'tested' my fitting og the car seat to make sure both she and I were happy that I knew what I was doing.
