This was the first time we had used this service, I have to admit I was very skeptical after seeing the value given initially on the Web. I expected that value to be inflated to encourage me to take the car to the centre where the value would be knocked down considerably. Nothing could have been further from the truth. First I should mention the advisor of the Yeovil branch. Before taking the van to the centre I spoke to him and his manner and assurances made me feel there was nothing to loose by going further with the process. At the centre he explained how all the of changes to the original valuation were handled by a computer program so if there was a problem with the vehicle it was identified to the program and it determined the cost to fix that problem. There was no possibility of a hard talking salesman talking down the value of the vehicle. The problems with my van were quickly identified , the computer deducted the appropriate amount giving a value much more than I had dared to hope for. The deal was done and we received the money 4 days later. I understand we could have got it quicker for a small fee. I have never sold a vehicle with less fuss and a better experience than this.

price quoted although better than part exchange is not the price you get, car viewed at night very little or no lighting chairs uncomfortable no heating vehicle had full service history although no proof my word not good enough, it was quick convenient and relatively painless process, its your decision in the end you can say no!

“Disgracefull Service”

Drove for an hour and a half for a 10am appointment, at five past ten he came out to deal with his waiting 9:30 appointment and promptly tried to blame the man for not phoning him (but he had). I didn't bother waiting to listen to any more of his BS. Do your self a favour and give them a wide berth. The company is sold very well but are not capable of giving the service they sell.

“complete waste of time”

had an on line valuation of £2,850 arranged an appointment for Friday 10am had morning off work to meet the sales guy [remember, your valuation is guaranteed for 7days] salesman there but no key to get into office, left with my van and came home. received a call later that day asking if I would come in again the following day, arranged to meet again at 10am and was offered £1400 don't even think about trying to sell to these predators!! they give you a valuation which is total unrealistic to the final price offered and just because you have turned up for the appointment they think they can offer a fraction of the actual worth and you will just accept totally unprofessional and totally misleading.

“waste of time”

after the cursory vehicle check and the 300 yard road test which checked 1st 2nd and reverse gears, i was quite amazed at the amount of stone chips that were not that apparent to me.£1100 was deducted from my original quote.After some chosen words from myself the deduction for stone chips reduced to £650 still a rip off if you ask me. They get you there with a realistic valuation then deduct as much as they think they can get away with!!Thank god i was not desperate for the cash.All they did was annoy me and waste my time.Stay away unless your desperate !!!!!!

In other words, if we find that your vehicle is exactly described in the online appraisal, then we will honour the online valuation.

Well wot can I say £1300 out no way, they give Low low prices, my vehicle is worth £3500, they offered Me £2200, which is no where near the price it's worth They just give me a really bad price, so my advice to everyone Don't get caught by these

Piotr Lamin Valued it at 448 Pounds But it was Valued at 615 Pounds . My van was valued at £500 more than I got, but it was clear that the salesman did not think I was bright enough to see the computer screen! My Iveco van was a Luton, not a chassis cab, so was worth more than originally quoted.

“Easy friendly sale of vw transporter ”

I tried WBAV to see what I could get as a minimum for my Y reg transporter and whilst the online valuation is for a pristine, showroom example my final offer was good. Weighing up selling privately I considered the cost of an advert, having people phoning and visiting, and then the inevitable haggling I decided it was easier to sell with WBAV. I think I could have achieved £2800 privately, but I went for the offer of £2300. This is a fair drop, but no wasting time with people not showing and the money is paid quickly and easily.

After taking my van to the York branch, the guy who i dealt with was absolutely superb! Very helpful, friendly and super effecient! I got slightly less than the online quote, but it was all justified and I felt that everything about the transaction was fair. I visited twice and I would say that, overall, it took less than half an hour! I hope the other branches have as excellent staff as the guy at York! I would recommend the York store to any family and friends.

“think very hard”

The rep was pleasant, tested the vehicle, then pointed out the tiny dents in the vehicle!! told me it would coat £800.00 to put right. There was no way anyone was going to fix tiny dents in a commercial vehicle, just an excuse to drop the price by a lot.

Feel that the process of valuing the vehicle was misleading. Given a price on the web then valuator took every chance of taking money of the price to minimise income. He kept saying don't worry about what he was writing on pad and computer. Then strangely I lost a 3rd of the value. Never use you again.

companys like this turn over millions from innocent people dnt do it u never ever ever ever get what the online value says in fact u get way way less

Why do you not return phone calls from customers who use there time to go to your compounds to sell there van? If you don't want it just tell them then they can go else where and keep waiting for the return call when you have left 4 voice mails.
