I was happy enough with the quote for scrapping my car and agreed a collection time and date.

Then it all went wrong. After hurrying home from work to make the agreed collection time, I waited and waited. Nobody turned up or called to say they were running late.

I called Sellyourcar2day to ask where they were, I was told they would look into it and call me back. An hour later, and no phone call, I called them back and was sent straight to voicemail. 15 minutes later I called again and this time it just rang out until eventually the call was cancelled.

DO NOT use Sellyourcar2day, you cannot sell your car today because they wont turn up.

You would be better off taking less money for your car and deal with a more professional firm instead of them.

The company Elite Prestige has been dissolved. Also does not deliver goods but takes money

Sell your Car 2Day offered me the best quote by far for my 1995 VW Polo. In fact, double most of the other scrap quotes and they confirmed the offer via text.

When I saw some of the bad reviews on here i was a bit worried they wouldn't pay the amount stated, so when called up to book the collection, I checked the quote ammount again with them and checked it wouldnt be renegotiated at the vehicle.

They gave me a one hour collection window, and turned up in the first 20mins. They were polite and friendly. Sad to see my car go, but very happy with the fast service and to be £150 better off!

After reading reviews, I dediced to give this a try since I alreadyhad several quotes for trade in values. My 2007 Nissan Versa is in decent shape for 6 year old vehicle with 100K+miles, There is a clean title, no accident history, and recent inspection. However, it does have a few minor scratches and pebble marks. After deducting for every minor blemish, which I would consider normal wear for 6 year old vehicle, they offered $2000. I had previously been offered between $3000-$3500 by dealers as trade-in. They were suppose to call me back the next day but I never heard from them. Don't waste your time.

I'm so excited! I am about to buy my dream car (an audi tt- white) and needed to sell my car quickly to be able to afford to buy it. I called yesterday evening, gave my car details over the phone and recieved a quote of between £4k and £4,500. Well they came this afternoon and we settled at £4350.

Its best to be honest and give complete details to them so your quote is accurate and you can get the best money for your car. They came with the intention to buy my car and dont waste your time.

Quoted £130 left car with my mum and the pick up asked how much been quoted she was unsure and said think 110 but let me double check and ring my son, the man said its ok got it on text and said yes £110 is right and that's what he gave her quickly, got her to sign documents before she could ring me.. And then drove off.. I then rang up and got told its late afternoon what do you expect and we said 120 anyway erm no you didn't. So unless you get early appointment I wouldn't bother actually I wouldn't bother all together...

i wanted to sell my old car that was sitting on my drive way for about 6 months was starting to be a bit of an eyesaw so went on to google found the first company that came up rang them up and arrange collection same day they came paid cash and took it away very easy wish i done it 6 months ago!

did a quote online on sellmycar2day.com and received a prompt quote and got told to call to arrange date a and time which i Did. arrange for 9-11 in the morning however called at 11.30 and asked where it was to which he replied they were short on drivers but one was on its way. still at 4.30 no appearance so rang again to which he said that they did not have a phone number so did not send a driver. they knew i wanted it collected as called earlier and could of took phone number then. i said it was unacceptable but he kept saying it was not his fault and was very rude and when i said it is the company's fault he said find someone else and put phone down. on reflection why did he say a driver was on his way and when you do the initial enquiry you give phone number, email address and home address so they had no excuse plus they text me on my mobile to say to arrange a time. totally disgraceful service. steer clear.

i went on to scrap my car phoned up and spoke to a very helpful and polite man who offered me £150 cash made an appointment for 2 hours later there driver turned up on time didn't haggle me on the price like another company and took it away very quick and easy
