I'm afraid the picture of 3 children was not centred so that the child on the right was cropped slightly. The original uploaded was not. Very disappointing.

I have used canvas4life several times and I have always been very happy with the results. That is why when my friend had a baby I thought it would be a nice keepsake to suprise her with a canvas of her baby. When the canvas arrived I was dissapointed. The corners of the canvas are lumpy and the picture does not sit flat on the wall. I did not want a bleed on the picture as I thought it would detract from the picture but...it has an unsightly rim of white canvas around the edge making the whole thing look cheap like it was done in a supermarket...but I did not pay a supermarket price.

Having ordered with canvas4life previously I was confident I would receive another good quality canvas print delivered on time. However, I was very sadly disappointed. Having placed an order, the money was taken from my account and I subsequently received a confirmation email, a delivery tracking number and a 'packed' status on my account. All good, until I received 4 seperate emails asking me to send my images again but through email as the website was having difficulty retreiving the images i'd uploaded. I had altered my original images through my order so was concerned the images uploaded by email would not be reproduced as I had wanted. I initially replied by email but then also phoned the customer helpline to be told everything was fine, my order had been processed and to ignore the emails stating the images were to be sent again. I then received another email telling me that I was to send the images again. It was very confusing to be told conflicting intructions by the same company. I then phoned the customer helpline again, this time I was told that yes I was to send the images again. This was 8 days after the original order was placed and expected to have been delivered, and following two calls to a helpline in America. I now have to wait for 5 days for return of payment for cancellation of an order!

Trying to get through on the phone. No one available since they opened 4 hours ago. Even live chat doesnt get you an answer. Going elsewhere.

I am not happy with the colour finish of my canvas the skin colour is too red as against being natural. The price and delivery is very good but I expected a better quality than I received

I am rating this website very low due to the awful (actually complete lack of) customer service. The actual canvas is very good and the delivery time was also good. However when I received the canvas I noticed a white mark on the face. I rang customer services and was dealt with by a female who clearly would rather have been somewhere else. Her manner was surprising for someone on a customer service call - utterly un-bothered. She eventually asked me to mail her a photo of the canvas and said she would call me back. She never called back and when I then left a voice message no one called me back and when I emailed no one answered that either. I eventually had to take a pencil to the canvas to cover up the mark as it was for a present. I can't even request a refund as this company advertise if you're not

Likes: The idea of printing a chosen photo onto canvas without much fuss. The delivery of first canvas was on time. Dislikes: Serious lack of specification for the photo's you are asked to upload. Does not inform you of required size, etc until you've chosen one, uploaded it & THEN it tells you it's too big/small. Also no warning that the photo you've uploaded may be pixelated or cropped by whoever print it. On my first order, I put a note asking that they please do not crop or fold the image at all, but when it arrived, it was cropped AND folded around the edge of the canvas, so I'd been completely ignored. Also, whilst using the site, it gave me the option to arrange a virtual living room with my canvas on the wall, which I found completely useless and frivolous and didn't really give me an idea of what it was going to look like or how big it is at all, as I can't picture exact measurements in my head, as I'm sure most people can't. Both orders, it has taken me half hour to forty-five minutes to complete, when I personally think it should take about ten. I decided to make the second order, as I received £5 vouchers with my first order, otherwise I would probably have looked elsewhere. I had the same trouble with placing the order, as I did with the first one & was a bit concerned that the photo would print pixelated but I hoped that if that was an issue Canvas4Life would contact me. I haven't heard anything so hopefully not, but if it is, I will not hesitate to send it back. Also, it's now a few days late, which would be fine considering it's Christmas soon, but I'm pretty sure they aren't sent by Royal Mail, they are driven by a courier..so don't understand how it can really get lost or delayed in the post. Finally, I have just tried to contact Canvas4Life, regarding this & as the phone number is 0800 I decided to chose the cheaper option of Live Chat, which claims to be available til 11pm 7 days a week. I clicked it, filled in the required boxes (Name, email & message), submitted & the box disappeared. It is now 8.45 pm, well within their supposed time frame & I have not heard anything for over half an hour now. Not impressed.
