I sent a request to Angel Springs in regards to a charity 10K race I am holding on the 21st February. Angel Springs were more than willing to assist with supplying water to the event and have donated sufficient water for all runners. The contact was great,delivered quickly....literally couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended!!

“Angel Headache - AVOID ”

We are a small office and have used Angel Springs since 2004, we hadn't really seen any change in pricing, however recently (Sept 2015) when we checked against competitors we realised they had become horrendously expensive. After speaking to their team and trying to cancel, I was put through to Client Retention (any company that needs a specific retention team obviously has issues). The whole customer experience has been very, very poor and frustrating their only concern was trying point out that we were in the wrong - AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Beware Total-Con, you agree to 12 months supply but if you don't cancel at least 3 months before end of contract you will automatically be billed for another 12 months or face court action and CCJ'S ***********************BEWARE*****************

“No Issues - Happy Customer”

Have been a customer for 18 months, very good service, originally had just a bottled machine then recently was given the opportunity to trial a water boiler for a month. This worked brilliantly and replaced the 2 kettles we had in our kitchen and saves us loads of time when brewing up !!

Since joining Angel Springs in 2007 I couldn't have wished for better service. A very helpful team were on hand to attend to my needs and arranged delivery within a matter of days. I have nothing but praise for Angel. Our regular driver is polite and punctual and the sanitisation service is regularly carried out! Would recommend Angel!!!

I have been a customer with Angel springs since the beginning of the year. I cancelled with my previous supplier due to poor service. They were constantly letting me down and the level of service was poor. Since joining Angel springs I have not received any issues and the staff all seem really happy and able to assist with any requirements. I have since replaced my own hot water boiler with a new Angel boiler. Angel springs offer an all round very good and reasonably priced package and I would recommend them to any business.

Great service I've dealt with this company for over 3 years never had an issue with the staff when I've called in. They are always friendly and take the time to explain things. When I've read comments about people cancelling and moaning about their contract rolling over well that's your fault you are your agreement with terms and conditions if you don't read them then it's not Angels fault. I would happily recommend them. The drivers and guys who clean my cooler are always smiling and don't mind bringing the water up a flight of stairs.

I was writing to Angel springs on 24 Jul 2015 " ​Hello Dear Sir/ Madam​, Please investigate our COMPLAINT/ WATER "BATCH NO..." TASTE SWAMPY (POND WATER), provide us results of analysis and let us know about the reason of this, one of our colleagues have had a sick stomach after drinking this water. To prevent any disease spreading or some other effects." Their respond on 5 Aug 2015 " Your complaint about a ‘swampy taste’ has been passed to me, unfortunately we were not able to isolate your returned bottle for close inspection and testing in our laboratory. The Batch code ... was produced at our site on 09th March 2015, all tests were within specification for this batch. Our water is a natural product and unlike tap water does not have any chlorine or any other chemicals added to it, therefore the growth of naturally occurring water micro-organisms is not unusual. The ‘swampy taste’ is a result of high bacterial activity and this activity can have been accelerated if the storage conditions of the bottles are not ideal, ie if kept near a heat source or direct sunlight. This high bacterial content of the water is not harmful. Micro-organisms of public health significance struggle to survive in bottled water and will not appear in our water unless the bottle has been interfered with or the water cooler has become contaminated. I hope the above gives you enough information, please contact me if I can help further, " When driver arrived to collect cooler and "infected" bottle, I have asked if they would be able to provide us an analysis of this specific water, or we can do it in private way, using private laboratory, to prevent any side effects on my colleague, the answer from driver was YES. Then driver took the bottle and hot and cold water cooler and replaced with only cold water cooler. I asked why only cold? He replied that he has only this one. I called to Angelsprings, asking why they changed without notice, they told me that they are not using cold hot water any more, cold water only. When we received their unsatisfied respond we cancelled a contract, but angel springs asked us to pay for the 3 months in advance, and since August we are still waiting for driver to take back their possessions. Spoke and wrote to bwca.org.uk, no respond.

Told it was a 12 month contract but realy 24 was not told we had to pay for paper bill was not told we had to pay for service of the machine dont send bills out have to wait 72 hours for a call back joke more like 72 day will not be using again in futture .

“Vile disgusting company ”

Tied into a so called contract that I didn't agree to and then constantly billed incorrectly. Very rude staff who just do not care one bit about your complaint followed by empty promises that your grievance has been dealt with. It doesn't become apparent that it hasn't been dealt with until the threats of court action land on your door mat. Hours of calls on the phone and numerous letters and conversations. If you want to literally stress yourself out and have your bank account bled dry then these are the guys to call. A one star rating is too much and words cannot explain the disgust and contempt I have for this operation. In over 22 years of business this is by far the worst I have had the misfortune of being dealing with. Avoid this company like the plague.infact I would rather have the plague than let this disgraceful company have another penny of mine.

“Unethical terms that trick you . ”

I signed up for this service for around £9 per month to rent bottles and about £5 per month for service. I got my last bill of around £200 pounds and discovered that not only had it nearly tripled but they wanted me to pay £250 to cancel the contract saying it automatically renewed every year and could only be cancelled 3 months before the year end . The original equipment never gets paid off and they don't upgrade it ...If they warned me that every year you are automatically committed to nearly £250 worth of water costs I'd never have signed..... I'd never sign up with them again .

“Not good”

I finished my contract with this company end of last year. Sent them several emails and phone calls and STILL awaiting my deposit of 100 pounds and it's now April. Avoid

“Do not use”

Angel Springs have tried every bully boy tactic with my company, they misled a member of my team on contract law and sated the contract would be rolling rather than automatic renewal year on year if you dont provide 90 days written notice. They failed to maintain the cooler as required by their contract. Do not use this company, poor service and near impossible to get rid of once in place.

“Legal action Angel Springs”

To H L Legal Collections, CC Angel Springs Dear sirs Thanks you for your letter dated 27/1/15 threatening to take legal action if we do not bring our Angel Springs account up to date. We are a Health & Safety and Environmental consultancy. As Manager of such my attention was brought to the fact that our water cooler was not being disinfected and maintained in accordance with our contract, and thus in breach of current legislation (Please draw your clients attention to Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) L8 – 4th edition, and accompanying technical guidance documents). As such the machine has not been fit for purpose since August 2014, and could be dangerous to use. I contacted the company by telephone in early September highlighting this and asking for the unit to be removed. I have contacted them on several occasions since by phone and email. They appear to ignore these approaches. The company state that their engineers have never been able to access the unit. I have pointed out that we have a retail outlet which, until Xmas, was open 09:00 - 17:30 monday to Saturday. Unless the engineer tried to access the premises during the hours of darkness I fail to see that he cannot gain access. Looking for assistance on line I have so far located almost 100 negative reviews on the same theme. I am obviously by far not the only one experiencing this problem. So, to summarise. Angel Springs refuse to remove the unit after 5 months. Angel Springs continue to invoice for the unit Angel Springs are now taking legal action for non payment of invoices. Angel Springs are in breach of: Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 (HSWA) The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations (MHSWR) Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH) The Approved Code of Practice: Legionnaires' Disease: The control of Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems L8 and associated guidance We will not be paying these invoices and look forward to meeting you in court in due course

Here is a summary of Angel Spring's business model: 1. be vague when trying to win business - offer free trial - tie new customer into contract without making them aware 2. auto-renew contract without notifying customer 3. avoid calling customer back whenever they call about water delivery or to complain about rude drivers 4. avoid calling customer back when water cooler breaks down and needs replacement 5. avoid calling customer back when customer calls to complain that Angel Springs avoids calling customer back 6. leave customer without water for 6 weeks BUT continue to invoice them 7. act enraged when customer decides to cancel contract 8. milk customer for as much money as possible (see point 2. above re. auto renewal of contract) 9. continue to invoice customer for the 6 months it takes to pick up water cooler, even though customer has agreed to pay cancellation fee; ignore all customer's calls in the interim 10. finally pick up water cooler after customer declines to pay all incoming invoices 11. sic the debt collectors on customer re. outstanding invoices (oh and the lawyers too) 12. customer pays anyway but totally worth it to be rid them

“Horrible service with horrible staff”

Angel springs called up our workplace to whom the receptionist answered. They confused her with low tactics and presented a free trial, at which point she was asked if she had permission for the trial, she said yes, then they went through a very fast terms and conditions, with this the receptionist agreed to take a five year contract without even knowing. When I called to question this, they sent a recording of the receptionist. I explained that she did not have permission and therefore void. We are currently undergoing solicitors fees and court proceedings against them. Terrible company full of low lives.

Ask for a copy of your SIGNED contract or recording (if verbal). If there's no signed contract and no recording of a verbal contract you are not bound to any cancellation notice/periods or charges.

Horrendous, avoid like the plague - is too mild, to give one star is one too many. Heinous company Unauthorised invoices raise against you and then debt recovery instigation So hope you read this before ever getting involved with them.
