I've been (attempting to) run a home-based business on Karoo for a year. Worst year ever. Constant drop-outs (100 a week on average) and our average surfing speed for the twelve-month period was 1.9mb. Called customer service many times, left on hold for an average of 25 minutes each time only to be met with the same raft of excuses. Change your modem, change your wires, even change the plug socket! Once I was told that I live too far from the exchange to get anything over 5mb; I told them I can see the exchange from my window. They replied saying "sometimes living too close to the exchange can cause problems too"! Anyone thinking about signing up, please look at the average ratings and reviews on this site and go for anyone else! I'm now moving my business out of the area exclusively because of Karoo. Hull will never attract the investment and entrepreneurship to compete with nearby cities until Karoo have competition. They hold the city back big time and it's time Hull was allowed to move into the future.
