Service
Booked my car in to shelltune kingsley for a service. The car really needed a service. Pick car up just over an hour u was only having a basic service. First I had to return after minutes because they hadn't stamped book. But worst than that the car felt e exactly the same. I've had services in the past you can tell straight away when driving. Rang them to tell them I was not happy only to be told everything had been done. So when I got home I got a guy to check, there was old oil no new yet you alway replace before oil filter, no top up of coolant and window water. I have no faith that they even changed the oil filter but I do know when I being turned over. Yes I'm a women but they are not going to get away with it. Awaiting to speak to the manager. My advice would be Avoid Avoid

First Class Service
Had occasion to.visit Sheltune on Christmas Eve to try and resolve problem of a broken
Wing mirror.
Although the matter was not fully resolved, they provided me with a temporary solution for which I
was well pleased.
I was impressed with the quality of service, their professional manner and friendly approach I will
be recommending them to my friends and neighbours.

Fitting Universal Joints To A Propshaft
took the propshaft from my lwb transit van up to them for inspection and any necessary repair after my garage had diagnosed that the prop needed new joints, because some joint are fitted with a steak, sheltune apparently have the tools to replace new uj's with a steak,
2 days later i got the prop back (£150 for two joints ) which werent steaked but welded,, fitted it to my van and the noise was worse than before. i went back to my garage who could see the replaced joint vibrating so rang sheltune who said "you will have to take the prop off mate for us to see" i did that left them the naff part again 2 days later i went back after they said it was slightly out but they had sorted ii, i came home (i live out of town so buses taxis etc ) put the prop on and sod me it was no different,
took the van to blue streak at sixfeilds who are absolutely great and they got a second hand part for the joint concerned swopped it over and van was fine,
rang sheltune who refused to accept they hadnt fixed the uj and had no apologie, in the past ive found sheltune to be fairly bad.
im a keen car and motorcycle grease monkey so im not daft when it comes to all things mechanical but to be made out to look a muppet by sheltune kinda rags me off, my advice ------- dont use them find a small friendly garage like the one i use at times

So Very Poor Customer Service, Expensive But Uncaring
I've taken my car into Sheltune three times in two months.
First for a brakes check, very good.
Second for service and MOT when I was told two hours tops; after two hours they hadn't even started on the car eventually got the car back two hours after they said it would be ready.
Third for new brakes discs and pads. Again two hours tops. Arrived at 11.00 and have just got my car back at 16.00. Most of this delay being due to the manager refusing to move a van out of the way to release my car.
Sheltune are certainly not cheap, actually at the expensive end, but you do expect good work and I don't complain about that; but customer service is entirely lacking.
I will not be going to Sheltune again and I advise you that if your time is valuable then go somewhere that does the work on time because at Sheltune you'll be hanging around all day waiting for the smallest of jobs to be completed.
At one time today my wife was told 'five minutes' but it was still over two hours later that we got the car back.
Terrible!
