Rubbish

Chip was repaired but grew and when we complained and sent pictures they said they couldn't see it, even though it was pretty damn obvious!

No follow up from them on our written complaint. Avoid unless you want to be disappointed and get no service.

Repaired What Autoglass Refused

I had my windscreen booked in with Autoglass prior to my MOT being carried out. It was a chip on the drivers side and Autoglass told me that I had to have the windscreen replaced as the car would fail the MOT.

Screen-Care UK came to the MOT station and carried out the repair. It passed ! and it did not cost me a penny ! The paperwork was all taken care of and they dealt directly with my insurance company. I have since had other vehicles in my household repaired with no problems.

Waste Of Time

My small chip was repaired! but I hardly noticed the difference. It was certainly not nearly invisible. Had I not seen him do some work on it I would not have believed it had been done. I complained but he said he had already told me that I would still be able to see it.... he hadn't! I would not recommend or use this company again.

They Tell Lies

We went to car park in Canterbury and the windscreen man told us that we did not need insurance details as all we had to do was fill in on line and put insurance details in and the company claimed the money .over two months later we get a letter out the blue threatening court action as we had not paid £50.when I phoned they told me they sent email to say I had to claim the money from insurance.I had not received any email more lies. When I phoned insurance company they had not had any communication from them. All I can say to anyone phone your insurance first as you have to go to one that is a designated company.Carparks should not allow company's to use this as a work place

Poor Repair,complicated Paperwork-

The repair was completed in the car park of Tescos in Carmarthen, there were two cracks in the windscreen the chap checked his list of insurers and said that they would pay for the repair all I had to do is supply the insurance company details to sceencare and they will deal with all of the paperwork.

When I returned to the car after the repair he stated that he could not repair one of the cracks properly and as this was below the screen wiper swept area I was not too concerned.

I supplied the details of the insurance to Screencare on line and assumed that this would be an end of it.

I have recieved telephone calls and letters from Screencare, and my insurance company about the matter.

When I received an invoice for the work I discovered that I had been charged for the ineffective repair and I have to pay an excess to the insurers.

I will never use or recommend this company and I intend to contact Tescos as I believe that they think they are endorsing this company!!!!!

Poor Workmanship And No Customer Service/complaint Handling

We took our car to where these chaps were set up at a supermarket on our way from London to Cambridge. The small chip was repaired, but because they did nothing to stop it spreading it just grew into a long crack. We e-mailed to complain numerous times and seek resolution, but the invoices and reminders just kept coming.

Eventually we phoned to be told the guy dealing with our complaint was away and so the e-mails weren't being read! He asked us to e-mail a picture of the crack which we did immediately. While he was on the phone he opened the attachment and after what could have only been a split second glance, he announced that he couldn't see any crack. This we even though it was clearly visible in the photo (if you bother to look of course). No attempt was made to come and see the car for themselves.

Net result, we have lost £80 and have a larger crack than when we started.

We have still had no further response from screen-care uk about our formal complaint.
