Would Happily Recommend Mrg Services To All!

I have had Gavin service every car I have ever own from my first car a Rover 25 to my current car BMW 3 Series and his prices have always been great and his workmanship fantastic.

He has put my mind at rest when I have thought I have had an issue with my car and he has let me know when there have been issue with my car that I wasn’t aware of. He is the only person I truly say I trust working on my car.

I have recommended him to all my family, friends and colleagues and not one has ever had a bad work to say about him and I know that all have used his services again and again.

Would happily recommend MRG Services to all!

Professional, Efficient, Reliable And Friendly Service

We are a company (Firstawaycars Ltd) selling nearly new quality cars to customers. Prior to selling to our customers we require mechanical pre-checking, specific works and sometimes servicing of a wide range of makes and models of vehicle. In addition we also require 'call-outs' to rectify mechanical issues at very short notice. Gavin came highly recommended, and from our first meeting has proved to be a great asset for our business. He is a professional technician who confidently and efficiently executes his work. Would highly recommend him to both individuals and companies looking for a professional and friendly service.

Great Service

I would like it to be known (nay) publicised that the srevice I received from Mr Miller (MRG Services) was second to none - I have a Mercedes and after taking it for servicing to the main dealer and paying extortianate prices I came across Mr Miller through a friend and to date he has saved me a small fortune - he is undoubtedly the most courteous helpful 'mechanic' it has been my good fortune to meet - and have been told that he is a 'specialist' in all makes of car.I have a friend who is in fact a Mercedes dealer and he has checked everything out for me and said that the servicing can not be faulted and the costs are amazing .He also arranged for MOT and the car came back immaculate (I wondered if it had been valeted) I can not speak highly enough of Mr Miller and would reccommend him to any of my friends

Excellent Customer Service And Value For Money

I have used MRG Services for over 10 years, Gavin came as a recommendation and i have recommended him to others. I have had a variety of cars, BMW, Mercedes, Audi and Fiat, all of which have been serviced by Gavin. He is always professional, always does a good job, and is honest about the job in hand and what is needed rather than pushing a 'nice to have'. He has sourced me cheaper tyres although the same quality, and spends time to source the best parts for the job.

Being mobile, Gavin comes to your door, he is always flexible and ensures that he comes at a time convenient for you. Gavin provides excellent value for money and talks through all items on his invoice, he ensures that he explains any problems and what he has done to rectify them. He always goes the extra mile and my car is always returned cleaned!

I trust Gavin and what he says about cars. I will be using him for the next 10 years and more I'm sure, and will continue to recommend his services to others.

Excellent Service! Professional And Great Value For Money

I had a problem with my electric windows, which both my local garage and Volkswagen dealership looked at without success. I was recommended MRG Services as a local mobile car servicing company and the problem was fixed without fuss and at a very reasonable price within a day. Gavin was friendly, reliable and honest, showing me exactly what he had replaced and giving me a detailed breakdown as to the cost. Since then I have been using him for all my car servicing needs and can not fault the service I have received over the years.

Excellent service all round – the car even comes back washed! Highly recommended

Mobile Car Servicing - Not Recommended!

Not Recommended. Very poor customer service.

Back in June 2011, we used Gavin Miller at MRG Services because he was recommended to us. He serviced our Honda Jazz at a reasonable price including the MOT. He's mobile so he comes to you, takes the car away, services it, takes it to a 3rd-party garage for the MOT and then returns it to you. Sounds great.

Unfortunately, a week later we noticed scratches through the tint on both our rear windows. They were definitely not caused by us as we usually have the roll-out child sun blinds up, the only time the blinds weren’t up was while the car was being serviced and the scratches definitely weren’t there beforehand.

We contacted Gavin and left a message. A week later we tried again. We sent texts, we left voicemails. Twice we received a text asking us to send him the details of the company we used for the tint, we thought he was going to arrange to get them re-done. We did and then we waited...and waited. After three months (now September), finally I decided enough was enough. I phoned his mobile and home number and left a message every day. It still took him over two weeks to contact me - via email. He denied all responsibility and still hasn’t even viewed the damage for himself. Trying to be fair, it may not have actually been him, it might have happened at the MOT garage. It could have been simply a case of the MOT person having something on their body (a belt for example) that scratched the tint on both sides as they were reaching in to check seat belts.

The law says that Gavin Miller has to take reasonable care and skill in providing the service. It’s very hard to prove that he caused the scratches even though we know they happened while he had responsibility for the car. He certainly didn’t provide reasonable care because he didn’t do an appearance check of the vehicle before and after it went to the MOT garage. We have no recourse to the MOT garage as we didn’t give it to them directly and Gavin Miller denies it’s his responsibility. We’re stuck and all we can do is pay to have the tint re-done, and considering it was less than a year old is a bit of a nuisance to say the least.

What makes us even more upsetting is the complete denial of responsibility, he could have at least offered to pay for half the cost of the re-tint which would have been barely £30 and we would probably have used him again next year because ‘making it right’ is the best kind of customer service that a small business can do. But instead, he’s left us hanging for 3 months before finally saying he wouldn’t do anything about it. When we said we would be leaving an honest review on the internet of his services, he threatened us saying that he would take legal action against us if we were found to have made slanderous comments. How do you like that?
