Customer Service Has Recently Deteriorated
Always had excellent service from this branch. Attended on 22/2/24 for an MOT, MOT inspector was great.
Spoke to person in charge who told me to get off his site after I stated that the place appeared to be falling apart and asked where the other staff were. Said he was working long hours and unable to get any time off, and intends to leave. Stated that staff were suspended and under investigation. As he worked away he made what I believe to be a racist remark and then tried to prevent the technician from doing the MOT. When I challenged him about his remark, he ordered me to leave his site and that I do not need to come here. What an insult not to mention that other customers could have heard what he said.
I waited 2hrs to get through on the phone to book my MOT, which is highly unusual. Standards have slipped - I used to work at this branch many years ago as a tyre and exhaust fitter. I would never had spoken to a customer like that and have always had a very good customer experience in the past, hence always returning.
The MOT was conducted and the Inspector was very pleasant. In the meantime I would like to think that this one individual will be dealt with, otherwise you will lose more custom.

Friendly Staff And Quick Turnaround Always
Always have my MOT’s done there. Both testers are very thorough and will let you know where the issues are. Always went in and out for the last 3 years with both our family cars. Also had 2 wheel sets changed on both cars. Never had an issue.

Fantastic Service
I went there yesterday, 13th June for my car’s MOT. As always, I am amazed by the high quality and speedy service. All the staff members there were friendly and approachable. The manager is a master customer service man. He kept everyone informed and entertained while waiting in spite of his business. For me, KwikFit Borehamwood is already like a family. I would always recommend it to families and friends.

Best Car Repair Centre In Borehamwood
I am writing this review to thank the Manager, the team at the Borehamwood (901) tyre centre for the exemplary service provided by them to me on my recent visit.
The appointment for a tyre replacement and wheel alignment was conducted both promptly and professionally. The team were very friendly and made me feel most welcome upon my arrival by offering a full description of the work to be carried out and the time it would take. They commenced work on the vehicle without any undue delay.
I would like to say that the team are a real credit to your company and fantastic brand ambassadors. Previously, I used a local small tyre company in Borehamwood. However, your low prices, the professional and welcoming attitude is such that I would not hesitate to use the services of the team at your company again. Further, I am delighted to recommend the team to all my friends, relatives and other contacts in relation to the services that your company provide.

Great Service
booked car for a service online, dropped car off at 8.30 and was ready by 12. Provided a great breakdown of everything checked and any remedial action needed. Very helpful staff.

Waste Of Money And Time
My wife took the car in on a Wednesday to be told, they don't take appointments, and was told to come back later that afternoon, then came back and said they can't look at it now, come back Saturday. I came in on Saturday, they mentioned my wife left without saying anything and tried to relay she misunderstood what they said, obviously she refuted this, which I tend to believe her side of things. They then proceeded to tell me it's best to bring it back in during the week, when they're not busy, so I kicked up a fuss saying this is the third time you've inconvenienced us, just take a look at what's wrong. They did their inspection, and then took about 2 hours to get hold of the manufacturer to get a price on the part. I then get told it'll be £255 to repair. I asked what is the price of the part and labour. The salesman says he couldn't tell me because the information comes direct from head office with no breakdown. Then there's a piece of paper in front of us on the desk, part £60+labour = £255, I say isn't that the part cost, oh he doesn't know, he wasn't the person that dealt with this order. So at this stage I'd have enough, I pay my £35 for their time and leave. Went down to my local mechanic, paid £110 for the part and labour and now have a working car, I don't mind the excessive amount they tried to charge me, I think people have to expect that kwikfit will probably charge more money on bespoke service, I mind being treated with no respect, no clarity with the service and spending hours to get seen to. I'd already spent close to £1,000 already this year with kwikfit, something they don't seem to care about.
