Do Not Use
Ordered parts from this company. The delivery charge was double other suppliers, so I assumed that they were using express couriers.
Parts have not arrived and no tracking information has been received, despite repeated requests for tracking information (tracking was required as part of the quote).
The company has not replied to any of my emails, so I have had to resort to requesting a refund via paypal.
I now wish I had looked at reviews of this business before I ordered from them, as this appears to be their standard operations.

Have just been reading the other reviews. Incredible. So bad. Really shocking. They must be the least ethical company around.
I have been lucky though. Somewhat. Ordered and paid for an XJ Aframe, which they delivered several day late. It did not have the new bushes they promised, so I paid a jag specialist for them. Great. Phoned Jagbreakers and was promised a partial refund by the boss, Weeks ago, and has never arrived.
Was going to threaten to sue or write a bad review, but obviously no point, so hence writing this review without wasting anymore of my time talking to them. The other reviews did make me laugh with astonishment that these guys at Jagbreakers can be so crassly stupid when they could make more money by being honest!
Am sorry for you others though who havn't even received their paid for parts.

Talks The Talk.but Doesn't Walk The Walk
They are good at making promises on the telephone but unfortunately don't keep them. This is a shame because the guys there appear very nice and friendly and seem to know all about Jaguar cars. I ordered a throttle body for my jag; but it was not delivered when they said it would, - but a good week later. The part was a duffer and didn't work so after I phoned them and requested a refund. All very amicable. They said they would refund me my money as well as come and pick the part up. Unfortunately this just didn't happen.when they said it would. Three phone calls later and many excuses as to why nothing had happened on the days they said it would - I finally got a refund after badgering them to death. I really didn't want to do this because I trusted them. I am still waiting for the faulty part to be picked up from my residence. It's been the best part of 3 weeks now so it seems it's all in the lap of the gods that anything happens with these people; nice guy that the boss is along with his staff overall I have to say I am disappointed with Jagbreakers performance on this occasion. Sorry chaps, but I speak as I find.
I had the very same problem - ongoing - both guys Ive spoke to are very friendly and willing to help but always manyana - tomorrow never comes - neither the part or a refund - nearly £100 so too much to write off. As you say shame cos there aren't many spare out there for our classic xjs- Goodness knows how they run a business. Wont deal with them again UNLESS I GET A REFUND SOON. IF I do I will update this site. Not impressed with them at all

Having Been Told That They Might Be Able To Fix My
Having been told that they might be able to fix my X-Type gearbox without a lot of expense, I drove the car to Manchester. Had it not been so far away and had I not had a car to bring back for a friend, I wouldn't have left it there, the yard was a shambles. They had the car for over 5 weeks. They couldn't fix the gearbox so they returned the car with bits of trim in the boot, filthy inside, approx 500 miles added and the gearbox had been put back so that the car no longer drove! I have been pursuing them under the Supply of Goods and Services act but my last letter was returned as 'gone away' I have had no response to any correspondence and have had to pay nearly £2000 to have the gearbox rebuilt. I would avoid this company and Ben Hughes the proprietor at all costs.
OMG - I hope we get our money back - sorry to hear of your problem - but we experienced exactly the same - still waiting after nearly 5 months for either the part or a refund - after returning the incorrect part that they sent us! neither part or money arrived - trading standards will be informed then my solicitor!
I sent Ben Hughes an email yesterday asking for my refund to my account, received an email back this morning saying he had refunded the £210 I paid through my bank? Checked bank and to date not in!! Will keep an eye out and let you know on this forum!!

Not Good At All. Part Ordered, Very Helpful On Pho
Not good at all. Part ordered, very helpful on phone like the others, assured me part was perfect and what I needed. Phone call after phone call, promise after broken promise but no part. Eventually got money back through credit card company - they even logged onto a forum with a false name and tried to say that it was all DHL's fault - that's how bad they are. Google the company by all means and see what you find.

Ordered parts never arrived , despite calling daily & promises to deliver next day over a period of 3 weeks . agreed to refund my £141 , nobody ever returns calls as promised , still waiting two weeks on .
Going through Trading Standards now.I would avoid these shysters at all costs !!

Slick website but is chaotic scrapyard with shocking ethics. unless you want to phone 30+ times try somewhere else. they say someone will ring back but they never do

Just about to send something back myself as the wrong part arrived. They've assured me of a refund so we'll see what happens. Thankfully the item was paid by credit card so I have protection with that I guess.
