Bad communications. Apparently short on 3 mechanics at time used them. Don't even reply to complaints. Did a job on car that has been described as dangerous by another company. Won't take any responsibility. Very bad experience. Wish I hadnt gone there.

The worst thing I ever did was buy a car from this lot. On the day of buying the car the engine management light came on. They blamed the fact they never reset it from a previous job, lies!! After I took it back it came on again the same day I broke down multiple times. After weeks of them saying my car was fixed I always had the same problem. After the 4th time of taking it back I demanded my money back and to there credit they did give me a full refund but I would never go near that lot again. As they haven't a clue what there doing.

These had my car to service, mot and brakes.

I was very impressed with the service I received. The work done was completed to high standards and the price was fantastic after being quoted much more. The lads were polite and nothing was too much trouble. They even loaned me another car for the day!

Most definitely be going here again and passed on to all my friends and family.

My daughter has also used these since and was happy.

My Audi and my daughters BMW will certainly be coming to you again!

My grandad took his Land Rover here for its MOT, He was told there was something wrong with the airbag sensors so he paid them to fix it & collected it.

Next day the car wouldn't start so it was towed to an auto electric garage in Burton where they told him Hatton tyres had killed his battery by the work they had done & the airbag light had come on due to a loose bulb. He had to replace the battery & the technician rang Hatton tyres to tell them what had happened & he was told to f off as was my grandad when he rang to see if they would pay for the battery. (my grandad is 70). I would not recommend this garage at all, incompetent & very rude

After reading the negative review of Mr Foster, I feel compelled to write a review myself. I moved from the North to Hilton 26mth ago and being new to the area and not knowing anything at all of the services around my new home town I was forced to follow a recommendation from a neighbour when my car needed attention. Hatton Tyre and Exhaust Centre was the place my neighbour used and he described the place as "Top Drawer", so I took my car along to Hatton Tyre and Exhaust, I described the problem to the man on the desk and it was looked at there and then. Within 40 minutes I was driving away with my car repaired and running great, the price of the repair I thought very reasonable. Since that first visit to Hatton Tyres, I have become a regular customer, mainly due to my passion of cars and the fact that my wife and I change our cars on a regular basis, I have recently just purchased our 12th car since we moved down here and all have been serviced and maintained by Hatton Tyres. I regulary go back north to visit family, a round trip of almost 500 mile so my car has to be reliable and running well, I have taken several different makes of car, with several different problems to Hatton Tyres and no matter what the vehicle or the problem, I have found there service to be first class. My latest car is a Jag x type diesel, I bought this from a friend up north, the car had a fuel starvation problem that my friend had been quoted several hundreds of pounds to fix, I limped the car down to Hatton Tyres and within 24hrs the car was fixed, running great and the bill was a fraction of what my friend had been quoted. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hatton Tyres to anyone who wants a great service, with a great price. Using the words of my old next door neighbour the lads at Hatton Tyre and Exhaust centre are "Top Drawer".

Beware - Hatton Tyre, Exhaust & M.O.T Centre may be a great garage looking from the outside but if you have any issue with a repair then be prepared for major problems.

I had my car towed by AA to the garage with a starter motor failure which was recorded and diagnosed by the AA. Bump started and all driveable, only escorted by the AA Patrol.

On having the starter motor repaired, Hatton Tyre, Exhaust & M.O.T Centre also said the battery ideally needed to be replaced.

I agreed on both being done.

On picking my car up I noticed that all of my dashboard wasn't working and phoned the garage.

The garage attitude stank. AA had recorded a mileage off the car and also noticed the Fiat warnings on the dash so this proved it was working before they had done anything. AA Patrol also had noted all the faults and an entire dash issue was not present when they recovered us to the garage or before.

On raising the issue the garage blamed it on a surge... most likely caused by them changing a battery (which in my opinion was perfectly 100% working fine).

They complained about some missing screws which could have been before I had owned the car.

The owners attitude was extremely poor and he doesn't care if there is any issue they have caused. His idea is to simply blame his customer. Maybe he needs to man up and be accountable for his firms actions and service standards... Why was my car allowed and signed off by his mechanics/electician if the dash was clearly not working???

Maybe he hoped I wouldn't notice the fact they caused me to have no working speedo or anything which I would clearly find out about!

I will never ever use these cowboys again and have also advised others of the issues faced.

Poor service in these days is pathetic.. The owners are happy as long as they are taking your money... as soon as an issue they do not like it.

The owner has said he doesn't want my trade and I can honestly say I don't want to use their shoddy services and would rather leave it to professionals who can offer a honest service and simply put their hand up if they do anything wrong.
