This Has Got To Be One Of The Greatest Cars Ever D

This has got to be one of the greatest cars ever designed - take a large comfortable couch and bolt on a Ferrari designed engine and there you have it.

Add on some innovations like a rear spoiler that rises out of the boot when you drive fast enough, or a convenient rechargeable torch in the glove box and you have a classic.

Finally style it like the cousin of a BMW and only make a handful.

This car is fast - and comfortable -what more can you want.

Hi guys. I have mine for more than 5 years. During that time, I have had two big services and I am up to a third one. It is a myth that the engine needs to be towed out of the car. Service, including changing the sparks, can be doen with the ngine in the car. If you buy a good one and have a good service location, the car is very reliable (but .. isn't that so for every car??)!

Yes you are quite right - I have got my Themas a bit mixed up.

Still, a great car inspired by Ferrari and made by Lancia.

Hate to be picky, but the car you mention does not exist.

The Lancia Thema 8.32, known as the Thema Ferrari, has a 3 litre 32v quad cam engine from the Ferrari 308QV, with a modified crank.

It is not 3500cc, does not have a turbo and certainly never had and LX suffix to it's name.

Having sid that, the 8.32 is a truly wonderful motorcar, and I love driving mine every chance I get. Anyone interested in the car, or looking to obtain one, could do worse than contacting the Lancia Deedra and Thema consortium (www.lancia-tdc.co.uk)

Too much!

For example - to change the spark plugs involves removing the engine from the car! That costs.

Your review makes me want to find and buy one!

You must surprise lots of boy racers with a ferrari under the bonnet. How much servicing does the engine actually need?
