I Have A 2.4td Ssr-x Had More Problems Than Most P

I have a 2.4td ssr-x had more problems than most people, I have gone through 2 fuel pumps, and fixed no end of other things, however they are great fun to drive, they have the advantage on ground clearance but the driving possision of a car not a van (like many 4x4s are) maintanance is quite simple, altho exhaust change was fiddly, I would recoment the 3.0 D, as it suffers from fewer problems and has better fuel econamy than the 2.4TD.

My 2.4 Toyota Surf Ssrx Looked Awesome And Got Lot

My 2.4 Toyota Surf SSRX looked awesome and got lots of nice comments despite it being a 93' and only paying £3,500.00 for it! I sold it a year later for exactly the same (only because I moved to London). I had complete confidence in it unlike other used cars I had before. It started every time, the parts were very reasonable, even new tyres were surprisingly cheap. It was very practical - the ability to put the tailgate window down enables you to load long things that stick out, and with the seats down it was basically as utilitarian as a pick up. The insurance was very cheap despite me being only 23 at the time. I took it off road a number of times and was very impressed despite my brother-in-law's comments (he is a Land Rover nut).

Absolutely terrific vehicle. Really, there is nothing else you can buy for the price that combines such reliability, style and utility. I knew about them because I lived in Arizona for a while when I was at school (they are called 4Runners there) and lots of kids had them; I think if more people actually knew about them in the UK they would fetch much more - basically they are the best kept secret on the UK roads. Buy one!

The Toyota Surf Was Brought As A Daily Car And Hor

The Toyota Surf was brought as a daily car and horse puller by weekends for shows not tried towing yet as head problem. All extras work 5 electric windows, electric sun roof and the rest. Brought very cheap off friend which had been stood for 1 year costing £200, SSR-G version as well so all extras including Recaro seats.

The Uk 4runner/surf Is Lovely And Smooth 3.0lt V6

The UK 4Runner/Surf is Lovely and smooth 3.0lt V6 engine or powerfull 3.0lt TD motor if the V6 is too thirsty. Import versions (Hilux Surf) also available with a 2.4TD. Handles offroad great with no dramas, while being smooth and comfy on the tarmac.

Looks great, nice interier, good options, acres of room inside. legendary Toyota build quality.

All the fun of a butch Hilux pickup, with a 4 door estate style body on top.

Hi. I have a 1993 British spec 3.0L V6 petrol 4Runner Estate. I love my car very much, but recently I've been having a few problems. The main one is when the car reaches temperature; it tries to stall when driving, and if you turn the engine off, then immediately turn it over, it won't fire. I've changed the ignitor and the H-T lead, but to no avail. What do you think?
