Incorrect Information

100% incorrect information given, not a trust worthy company at all. Not even icarcheck but someone else. just use 3rd parties. Dont be ripped off

I deal with complaints for iCarcheck. We have a guaranteed money back offer if any of the information we provide is incorrect. I am unaware of this person officially complaining and thus I cannot deny we made an error - but it is extremely rare.

False Info.

I recently bought a car check from icarcheck as it advertised a V5 logbook check. When the report came it had no info on the V5 at all.

I emailed them and the next day they replied to say they do a V5 check. I replied again to say this is clearly stated on their website and also included a screenshot to prove it. I have also asked for a refund but not had a reply.

Why on earth would a company not know what they advertise?

I have not heard of this customer's complaint before reading it here. Our data is obtained from DVLA, Police, Insurance Companies and Manufacturers. All the vehicle data on our reports to customers is precisely what is on the V5, so I am at a loss to see what the complaint is. If we make an error we refund our customers, immediately.

Complete Conn - Should Be Prosecuted

They lure you in with all the promises, take payment and then provide you with only a fraction of the information and then blatantly expect you to pay more for all the features you really want. Utterly suckered and will be reporting these ****artists to the authorities.

We are completely open. We do not take money for mileage checks unless we have mileage data and then we give the customer the option. How could that be any fairer. Look at our website and see if anyone else thinks we make wrong promises - and let us know if you do. Our prices are clearly shown - aren't they?

Not Worth It

Weeks behind in data and giving incorrect info on my car when I enter details

We have 100% money back guarantee on all services. Our data is normally updated within a few hours. If there is an issue of weeks out of date, it will be because insurers or DVLA have not updated their records.

Excellent Service

Put my mind at rest when I was looking for a BMW. I looked at a few BMW's and found this site to be invaluable at making sure the cars that I thought about buying where as the seller said there were. Some were not and this information allowed me to not even bother to view the car and waist my time and expense traveling to look at cars that had been damaged or stolen.

I wouldn't buy a car with out first checking this website to make sure the car was the genuine article.

Icarcheck Gave Me Wrong Info, Led To My Arrest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased car in feb 2013 after icarcheck said it was all clear. Got arrested yest by police for suspicion of theft of vehicle. turned out it was stolen in dec 2012!!!! Why didn't icarcheck know this in Feb 2013? got released without charge after 22 hours in the cells. out of pocket too.

As this man knows full well, DVLA made an error and removed the stolen data. They issued him with a V5 in error. We too had the same data. We have liaised with him and are in the process of assisting him in (hopefully) getting the vehicle back. We are only as good as the information we are given and always go the extra mile to help our customers when they encounter unexpected difficulties.

Simply Rubbish!!!!

The check did not pick up that the car I purchased was a grey import from Sweden, I am now in a battle with the garage to get my deposit back!! The check stated it had never been imported, I only found out because when I phoned for insurance they picked up a problem with the cars year of manufacture. Piece of advice always ring the manufacturer with the cars VIN number to check the car, its free so you mite as well!! The company also offers no guarantee so I am forced to continue my battle with the garage possibly through the small claims court!

The data we supply relating to imports is precisely what is shown on the V5. Grey imports from EEC countries will rarely be picked up as it is not data recorded by DVLA.
