Shocking Treatment Of Oldest And Least Valued Customer

Truly awful customer service on an honest and truthful warranty claim. Shameful, after over 30 years of customer loyalty and the purchase of over half a dozen new machines from this dealer. The dealer started by saying that if any part is at fault he will pay for any damages but needs to understand why this occurred. Basically, the side stand bent and gave way and the bike toppled over. He agrees it should not have happened due to his weight tests, but it did. Then the arrogant dealer infers that myself and witnesses to the event are cheats because he knows best. His hypothetical fiction as to an attempted theft or another vehicle collision is disproved by the honest reality of the pictures below and the people who witnessed the event. Also his preposterous claim that the defective stand is solid and fine beggars belief. I truly wonder what Yamaha would make of this dealer and his dishonourable ways. Anyone else had issues with this dealer? I think we need to know.

Helpful In Getting Sales Aftercare Non-existent

Bought a Vespa from Leicester branch, all fell over backwards to sell the Vespa to me,

Picked bike up again great service from the person I dealt with.

However since owning the bike in 4 weeks I've had to pump up both types every 2 days so faulty tyres which weren't checked prior to handing over to customer. Not had no contact regarding services yet they originally sold the bike as new so would have records and let me know,

Customer aftercare non existent no ones bothered to call to see how I've been getting on with the bike any issues.

Like other reviewers have suggested, take the money and no longer bothered, must be the case with a lot of motorcycle dealers in the Midlands as come across a lot of them!

I'll be speaking to finance company about the tyres issues as am not paying to replace them!

Ace Service With Arnolds

Recently bought a Tracer 900 after a test ride at Arnolds in Loughborough. Sales staff were very helpful and friendly, without being pushy. They made the whole process stress free and I ended up with much lower repayments than I expected, for a new bike.

Had visited other dealers but these were got my business due to the clear advice from the sales guys.

Deceitful

Salesman stated this bike (FJR1300) was in beautiful condition. Sadly omitted to tell me about the crash damage!!! Wasted 200 mile round trip. Was offered a discount on any future accessory purchase. More appropriate would have been some fuel!!!

Avoid like the plague, just like the previous two reviews.

purchased a bike from this company, I foud the person I dealt with to be at best arrogant!! He promised to MOT the bike but didn't. clearly could not be bothered or I guess that he earns enough money without attracting recommendations from existing customers like me.

When I went to pick the bike up they denied the original conversation even happened. The staff were also very rude and short with me and treated totally differently after they had my deposit.

If you the the sort of customer who values a basic level of customer service then I wouldn't even wast the fuel to deal with them again!! No wonder they can afford to refit their showroom.

Would never buy anything from here again !!

Chose An 04 Yzf R6, Was Told The Usual, 1 Owner, F

Chose an 04 yzf r6, was told the usual, 1 owner, fdsh, hpi clear and sold brand new by them. Foolishly didn't ask if v5 was present due to gleaming history! Was informed on the day of collection that the last owner lost the v5 in a fire! They applied for one in my name which could take 6 wks! Got bike home (so it could sit there!) started it up after two days to find it only ran on three cyl's, called them to pick it up but also noticed that they had not bothered to mot it! All they have offered me is the standard 10%off accessories and a free yoke protector worth about ten quid!!! Very poor customer service, manager is very patronizing and vaguel y interested in my problem.
