Car Insurance No refund

I have a policy with Grove & Dean, A company they used went bust days after using them to insure me, I ring to get help as Ive got a new car arriving & they tell me there is nothing they can do, no refund from Grove & Dean, Not the insurance company or help from Grove & Dean as promised!!
I quote what they said in a letter to me word for word, We have been informed that existing Policies with Enterprise Insurance company will remain in force at present. In event of liquidation of the company is confirmed, Policy holders will be given 14 days notice of cancellation & then (WE WILL ARRANGE ALTERNATIVE INSURANCE COVER) Well it has been confirmed yet Grove & Dean will not honour there written word, Also they state in the letter We would like to assure you that we are doing all we can to protect all of our customers affected by the decision of the GFSC, All he did when I contacted a supervisor (apparently they dont employ managers)for help was sorry nothing I can do, No refunds, no help, no alternative insurance just I can pass you to my sales team to see if they can get you a Favourable quote, but sorry I cant promise anything.
I paid Grove & Dean in full for my car insurance not the Enterprise, Now Grove & Dean wont stand up & be counted, Have no alternative insurance, No Help & no favourable quotes, To be treated like this when youv'e paid approx £500 cash in full is an Atrocity, Now they want me to pay in full again.
They have no intention of Honouring my contract with them (Grove & Dean)
Car Policy holders beware, You maybe insured to drive on the road However if someone hits you or you cause an accident there's no funds to protect you, so in essence your just legal to get in the car after that your on your own
Leaves a bitter taste in my mouth & I got very angry with Mr supervisor, Do I apologise, Never as he offered no solutions what so ever just a big fat NO!
