Twice I asked for condition of Tyres, Chain, Sprocket, Discs and Pads as I am in Scotland and happy to purchase over phone. Twice they replied with non specific non committal answers. 'We'll service it before it leaves'. What does that mean exactly?? Don't go out of your way lads to give me an answer to some very basic questions.... Lost sale. Cheers.

i bought a vespa gts 300 from them about a month ago, i was told the bike would be pre delivery inspected, when it arrived i rode it with the mrs and thought that it felt un safe, i took the exhaust off and found the only 2 bolts fixing the right hand swing arm to the engine missing, the only thing holding the bike up was the engine dive shaft and left hand rear spring, i got no reply to emails at all, not even during the sale, this bike could have killed me and the mrs. just letting you know who your dealing with.

I've recently brought a motorcycle with them which I am happy with but they had lost the full service history that was advertised with it. I phoned many timess in which they would always have an excuse of looking through vans for it and the person who is dealing with it isn't in at the moment I'll get them to phone you back I never once had a return call even after me giving them over a day to ring me back. We finally agreed with a partial refund and a new service book stamped with the service they carried out. I emailed them from this point for record keeping and again same thing I would wait a week no service book, email them and they say it's due in Monday we will send it then. Again I wait no service book no reply to first emails more excuses. I've now received the refund but still no service book it's been over a month it's totally unacceptable. I never write reviews but felt I had to to warn people of the after sales customer service.

The staff were very friendly and give me a good sales speech about how the bike would be checked and a full mot. On recieving the bike there was no log book and the side light and back light didnt work due to faulty ignition switch, so i had to cancel my bike that weekend as the bike was not fit for purpose. I had to sort out the log book which they re-embersed the money, they wouldnt come to pick the bike up i had to drop it off, the said they fixed it, but only to find that instead of the lights not working, the ignition cut off twice, one of the times i nearly come off at 60mph. I have rung them to tell them but they wont come and collect the bike for repair, plus i dont trust them to repair it after the last botch job, i am now talking with solicitors to see if i can get my money back as the bike is a death trap, worst experience of buying a bike ever, i have never experienced such bad after sales service, i wouldnt recommend this shop at all.

Saw what looked like a nice bike on e-bay being sold by these guys. After the initial sale over the phone the customer experience went rapidly down hill. Bike turned up early to the wrong address dirty without the fresh years MOT promised and confirmed by e-mail. The conversation that followed speaks volumes, totally unprofessional and very rude. As I'm not a shrinking violet I ended up keeping the bike but demanded a lower price as I could see potential taking a chance knowing the warranty wouldn't be worth the bother anyway. Would I recommend anyone using them NO! would I say keep clear YES!

I really would recommend this place.. I have read down some of these comments and I know that when you sell as many bikes as this lot there are bound to be some that aren't happy..and they are the ones that take the time to write on here!! So I can tell you from first hand experience this is a good company to buy from. Bike was in the exact condition I was told over the phone. Amazing price. Thanks lads.

I've just bought my 3rd bike from Rite bike, a 1250S bandit on a 58 plate, what a great bike and in great condition. The buying experience as always is enjoyable except parting with my hard earned cash, I was well looked after, I'd like to thank them for there assistance and expert advise in choosing the right bike, after visiting the shop quite a few times over the past few months I'd recommend, and have done on numerous occasions to both family and friends who have bought from here. My brother-in- law still runs his CBR 5 years after buying from these guys. Regards

I bought a gilera runner 2013 plate 1800 with 3 months warranty 3 week after warranty run out the engine blew and when i called to see if they would help seeing as i paid good money so i wanted a good bike they basically laughed at me and said its my problem now, they have a sister company that says they'll buy any bike they'll bodge anybike and sell them around the corner at rite bike for extortionate prices!

Brilliant service and bike. The guys in the office were chatty and clearly bike loves themselves, talked me through the bike and finance deal (which i'd never had before so they explained how it all works). Bike was delivered when promised. Big thanks.

Bought my bike sight unseen after viewing on eBay.. Bike was delivered on time and delivery driver snapped the mirror off! Ritebike supplied a new one within a week, the bike wasn't running right so after a call I was told I would have to foot the bill for collection/delivery, I discovered a specialist Ducati workshop near me and they agreed to reimburse me once the bike had been inspected and if they agreed with the technicians inspection, so bike was fixed I hesitantly paid for the repair and sent Ritebike the invoice, and two days later a cheque arrived to cover it. So yes the bike had issues but, they were dealt with in a timely manner.

Bought my Triumph 1050 back in May and have to echo the opinions on this forum. Having happily chosen the bike at their showrooms, I paid a 500.00 deposit by credit card, and arranged delivery for weekend after. Said day arrived and eagerly awaited delivery van, and had arranged to pay remainder on arrival of bike. Bike arrived, but I was then informed that there was an additional charge for paying by CC, totalling approximately 100.00 extra, when I refused, not having been informed of this at point of sale, or on their paperwork, a lengthy and sometimes insulting conversation (against me) ensued, during which time it was stated various charges if I returned the bike, and at one point that my whole deposit would be forfeit. The Manager was rude to say the least. One month on, and I've just found out the bike had been delivered with the seat not fastened on the bike!! Would I recommend, not a chance!!

I bought what looked like a good BMW K1200GT from Rite Bike formerly known as VivaMoto - they are all the same bunch of... traders in the same place. Do not confuse them with Graham's Motorcycles/GoBuyBikes who are a completely different outfit (and very pleasant to deal with) but have the misfortune to be on the same trading estate. Within a month the clutch failed. RiteBike said this wasn't covered by warranty. I had an independent mechanic look at it - he diagnosed a failed crankcase oil seal which WAS covered. However by this time it was over a month since purchase and they declined to put it right. Also the cruise control developed an intermittent problem - also declined to rectify. Only when I mentioned 'court' and 'solicitor' and 'Sale of Goods Act' did they agree to do the work on the clutch. I also recorded my conversations with them. To be fair, they did the oil seal and clutch fairly promptly; it is an involved job and it has been ok since. I'm looking for another bike now and they have exactly what I'm after. It's tempting... but not that tempting. Other issues - the bike had an incorrect size front tyre which made the handling... interesting (actually bloody dangerous) but again, not covered. If you want a bike from them, view it. Read their warranty policy. Accept that by buying a lower-cost machine you may end up with a pile of guano that might look good but won't actually do the job you want. Do not have the bike delivered if you live a distance away. Do not buy if you cannot hassle them in person. Do not buy in winter when you might not ride the bike much. You need to find any problems ASAP. Most of these bikes come from "WeBuyAnyBike" which is the same company/people and based on the other side of the trading estate in Bradford. Why do people sell to them? 'Cos there's a fundamental flaw that is too expensive to put right but not easily spotted on initial inspection. Such as a crank oil seal.

Paid a lot of money for a pile of rubbish do not give these people any money unless you have seen and are happy with the bike, do not buy unseen from eBay.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!

Do not part with any money you see on their website. Do not place a deposit because if you change your mind they believe they have the right to keep it. Avoid avoid avoid!!

Beware, sometimes called ritebike, sometimes bikerite. Theres a clue in itself. Do not ever, ever EVER pay them any money. Not a single honest person working there. No honour, No customer service, just the usual tell you what you want to hear until they make the sale, then LOOK OUT, if you have a problem, forget it. If you decide to ignore the reviews and buy from these people then do yourself a favour, Please Please have a professional check the bike over thoroughly before you pay any money. You will thank me.

Yes, I agree and wish I had read your review before parting with a deposit and after their poor description of a bike, they now refuse to refund it.

Sorry that you had to deal with this company. We live and learn. The more reviews people post, the less likely people are to get caught out. Ive spent hundreds making the bike road worthy. Hope you get yours sorted out.

Hi, Yes I purchased the bike from ritebike. It had engine oil leak, clutch fluid leak and coolant leak. The bike was supposed to be serviced. When I broke the bike down to do the work, The filters and plugs were a complete mess too. I offered to do the work myself if they paid me for the parts. They agreed but after sending them the receipts many many times, they have never sent me a penny. I'm old school and believe a mans word is his bond. Not with these people. No honour, just deceit.

Sorry this has happened to you. I payed £195 through eBay but at a closer look at the photos, it had a dent in the tank. I wanted to cancel and they have kept my deposit.
