We are extremely frustrated and disappointed that after paying for a Will and Estate plan 8 months ago we are still not in receipt of one. Very disappointing service and still not getting any answers.

I contacted Leap for help to arrange remortgage of a rental property. The purpose of the remortgage was to offset rental income to minimise tax liability on rental income. I was advised about the optimum amount to remortgage . When I questioned that the monthly interest repayment was considerably less than rental income, I was told that I could simply make monthly repayments on the mortgage the same as rental income and therefore would not have any tax liability. I took the product and the advice at face value ( fee £1995). I have subsequently been advised by a tax accountant that only the interest part of a mortgage payment can be claimed against the rentla income, so the remortgage value is completely wrong. I am now faced with managing a complaint against Leap, as the mortgage advisor was not interested in sorting out the mess.

We dealt with Leap Finance a few years ago to remortgage and "Will" service. We found our Financial Adviser was helpful with all the paperwork and knowledge in the market. We were sold the product with the follow on service, you can use Leap Finance for years to come. We have come to the end of our current mortgage deal with 3 months to spare so decided to call on Leap Finance. We have had absolute minimum dealing with our Financial Adviser with not responding to emails, constantly having to chase, then advising to go ahead with our existing. We have now gone past our deal and still do not have a new rate set in place. We have had to continuously chase for the progress, and to date still waiting to hear from him! We haven't had any access to their special rates, no follow on customer service on this occasion. So all the commission he received from our initial remortgage it appears that we are not worth it.

We have also had this problem and have waited three years now, ours is now in the hands of the ombudsman and information comissioners office.
They took our money and three years on we have not received our original documents.
Don’t leave it as long as we have, they did not reyrn our calls or emails.
