If only I had seen this site and read the reviews before I posted two boxes of DVDs and CDs to Zumu. No Zumu website any more, no emails, no money, no nothing! They offered more money than Music Magpie...that should have been a warning sign. Rubbish!

“Administration, Bust, Bad Guys”

I tried sending an email as its been about 8 weeks since i sent DVD's and got a undelivered email bounced back to my email account??? This only happens if the email does not exist anymore. Checked online and found this review forum. 50 pound down the drain, no website online anymore, Good job i didn't need the money that badly like a lot of people who may have used these and got stung for more cash. I hope watchdog get hold of this and run an article on them.

“rotten service”

“DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!!!”

I posted my DVD's over to them in December and it's 6 months later and I still haven't received my £80 cheque. I've emailed them several times and each time it takes them a week to reply and they never really give a good explanation of what things are taking so long. The way I see it is that they have stolen my belongings as they aren't giving me the payment I was told. I've asked for them back so I can use another site but now they're not replying at all!!! NEVER USE THEM! I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH - People need to know that this company takes and never delivers!!!!

“Don't Bother selling”

I sent items in March and had confirmation they had received the goods. I'm till waiting for my cheque 8 weeks later. I've sent at least half a dozen emails. They say that someone will get back to me. What a cheek. They only owe me £8.95 but it's the principal.

I sent my goods away in good faith back in February and it's now late May and I still have not had my cheque back. I recieved an email saying they had recieved my CDs and DVDs, but nothing since. I am just away to report them to Trading Standards and possibly the police. Not sure much else I can do. Please don't fall into the trap I did.

“goods and website gone”

Before you put in time an effort packaging your unwanted goods make sure you know that the company that you are selling to has an absolutely scrupulous track record. I sent them boxes of books, CDs and DVDs mid-February 2014, it is now mid-May. I have chased them but did not receive a cheque. I received one communication. Beware, use a different company this company is useless and a money making exercise that went out bad. At least I did not pay to send my unwanted goods to them but used the pre-paid collect + labels that they supplied and I printed out. Next time I choose a company to sell to I am going to scrutinise the customer feed back in more depth - and if it is in anyway negative not use the company. This whole experience was a time wasting loss.

Same as everyone else. Have even contacted the police about this as its nothing more than theft. Best part is that Zumu has gone bust yet another company at the same location is now flogging used DVDs to amazon. You couldn't make it up.

“Thiefs !”

Sent Zumu UK a box full of DVD's, BluRays and CD's valued at APPROX. £55.00. I have emailed them once a month to chase-up where my payment was and get the usual, standard reply saying how busy they have been but the order has been processed, they are streamlining their payment processes and I will definitly get paid. After my last email in the middle of April I was even promised my payment within 7 working days and guess what....nothing! I have checked now and guess what....the website has disappeared! So, basically I sent them my goods in good faith and waited nearly 6 months to get nothing in return - I have also written to BBC's WatchDog consumer show in the hope they can shame them further but I guess it will come to nothing. I sent a separate parcel to MusicMagpie and got paid really fast - just wish I wasn't as greedy and sent them all to MusicMagpie - the only reason I sent some to Zumu Uk is because they offered slightly more money. Scumbags!

“Zumu DO NOT USE - THEY TAKE YOUR DVD'S AND GAMES AND RUN!”

In January 2014, i saw an advert for zumu.co.uk and in good faith sent a large box of DVD's and Games and in February 2014 i sent a further two packages for my partner's friend. I was informed the packages had been received and were being processed. After this i heard nothing. I waited for my payment and it is now May 13th and all i have received is an email stating they have been inundated with packages and it will take a while to process the payment but they cannot tell me when it will be paid. After complaining to them via email, all contact by Zumu has ceased and they have closed their website down. I now have to find the money to pay my partners friend for the dvd's he sent. I have lost over £120 as a result of these people, who are both inhuman and indifferent to anybody's plight. I am so angry as i have had the worst year, with my son in hospital twice and my brother now suffering in hospital with cancer. How can people be so cruel? I contacted my local trading standards and they asked me to write to the company and then get back to them if i have not had any response. However, as the company seem to have disappeared in a puff of smoke, i guess writing a letter is pointless. This company seems to have been doing the same thing in America. I never thought i would be ripped off, but i guess even companies who advertise on television can be like this. I have written to Watch Dog in the hope that they can search out the director of this company and take him to task. If more than half a dozen people write to them, they normally investigate it.

“Ripped off!!”

Sent off my items in Feb 2014, got an email back on 18th Feb telling me I would get my money in 4 weeks time. Suffice to say nothing has come my way, numerous emails and emails telling me it's on its way but nothing. I too shall be taking this up with trading standards. Stupid thing is I went through topcashback and got £3 which has gone through!

Same thing has happened to me. I submitted 3 seperate packages in January and february 2014 and have written numerous emails, only to be told they cannot tell me when i will recieve payment. Now they are ignoring my emails.

“Complete Rip off”

I traded my dvds in January 2014 I am still waiting for the payment for these items 5 months on .Have repeatedly tried to contact them email and letters sent had few replies and they mainly fobbed me off. The emails never had a name attached and I left my address and phone number for them to contact me this way nothing. Total rip off I believe I will never get my items back or be paid what I am owed.

Last time I received any money was late October, however having dealt with them most of last year and experiencing the long delay before payment didn't think anything of it. Spoke to a women three weeks ago who said they had a problem or two and that they were trying to reduce the cash flow delays. So this is what they call sorting out. closing the web site and running away. Fine, yes I feel angry and embarrassed at the same time but not a lot I can do about it, and they know it. Does anyone know if they have stopped trading or simply closed the web site down and taken the phone of the hook...
