Yesterday (Sunday the 13/08/2017) I have moved from Redhill to Richmond. Otex International helped me to move my stuff for £400 they offered me special price becuase I parcially blind.

The service they have given me is excellent.

I felt very comfortable because they delt with my nicely.

I would like to recommend Otex as a good removals.

Last month I moved from Stratford, London E11 to Tooting, SW17. I short listed three removal companies but I picked Otex International Removals for the shifting.

I have to say that they did not disappoint me. From the arrival of the team till delivering each and every box to my new property, everything was wonderful and professionally done. The guys did my move did not give me any doubt or never allowed me to hesitate in giving them a 5 star performance.

I called Otex International removal company on last Saturday for my house move because the people I initially booked with was man and van and they let me down last moment. So I called Otex they had sent me a quote already they came within two hours and helped me at a crucial moment. They are very cooperative and they did not charged anything extra even I called them on same day.

They are really professional movers. I am very happy to use their service. Highly recommended movers.

They ruined all my furniture with ended up with scratches and chunks of wood knocked out. My large ornate mirror went walkabouts and was told they did not see it. I was going to suggest filming them removing your goods but do not use this company. When you make enquiries they call and are prompt. Once there is a problem they don't return any calls.. Small print suggests prior to goods being taken you need to provide a list of goods along with proof of value otherwise you are not insured. Under section 11.2 it states you are not covered against breakages or scratched. This gives them grace to treats your goods as they see fit. Chucking it on to the van and treating your goods with disrespect.

Also if you have not paid prior to the return of you goods they will drive off without any explanation what so even.

This company is dispicable, disgusting and damn right unprofessional. Please don't use them. I made that error and without any justice. You may as well throw away your good and purchase new items rather than letting this company lay hands on your personal effects.

If this review saves at least one person from using this company I have done my job.

BE WARNED DO NOT USE OTEX INTERNATIONAL

Really poor service from OTEX. They weren't the cheapest option but we went with them because we wanted a professional service with no fuss, and initial contact (including when someone came round to give a quote) was slick and reassuring.

The actual move was the complete opposite, however. The day before the move, we were cajoled into paying for an additional man for the team because we couldn't be 100% that the lift in our new place would be working.

The team that turned up were careless in packing and moving, with walls scratched ('oh but the corridors are so narrow' - they're not narrow at all), a dish broken ('oh but we wrapped it in paper') and the flooring in our old place torn when the bed was lifted ('oh but it must have been torn before' - it certainly wasn't).

After speaking to them on the phone and following up with an email four weeks ago, I still haven't heard back about how they intend to compensate us for any of this.

The worst experience of my life. Turned up 3 hours late as my buyers were sat outside with babies waiting to move in,,,absolute chaos and half my stuff was left at my former home, damaged, broken. My husband had to leave them to it to collect the key and I was ill. They failed to arrive at my new address and I had to sleep on the floor without bedding or food or anything until two days later. They had put my stuff in storage and demanded a substantial amount of money before they would return my furniture and household goods. On the Sunday morning the man in charge said he'd had a lie in till lunchtime whilst I lay on the floor in dire circumstances. The female on the phone line kept laughing at my distress and putting the phone down. They arrived Monday morning with stuff from a 14 roomed house thrown into transit vans. All boxes were labelled with each room and floor but it made no difference. I stood outside directing them and found hours later they had put boxes in first and tables etc on top in the wrong rooms in kitchen stuff in the 2nd floor bedroom. Picture glass was smashed, reassembled beds had fittings broken through the wood frames and wardrobe wrong fittings and incomplete. Rail missing.

A box of 30 years of personal photos were later found squashed and soaked under garden sun beds thrown over rugs in the garage. Irreplaceable. My expensive cutlery and most mirrors plus Christmas place settings and serviette holders plus cd rack and other items have been lost apparently.

All furniture including very expensive Heals chest of drawers scratched and table granite chipped and legs of table unsteady and thrown together. I have photos plus those of my black and blue bruises as I a sixty two disabled woman struggled to move the chaos into manageable order and carry furniture to the correct floors by myself.

They didn't care. Didn't appear to be able to understand labels or instructions in English and I have received no apology.

I have had to replace most items and buy those missing some which has used up the little saving I had.

Rightmove had been organised and were superb in their assessment and organisation. My partner now ex cancelled them for OTEX who were cheaper but weren't in the end as demanded money before they would give me my possessions and most was ruined anyway.

3 of the 5 man crew did not arrive until 11:30 am which meant they left at 17:30 to go to the new address.

Wardrobes that had been paid for to be dismantled and reassembled were left in the conservatory as they said they would not fit? and refused to return and dismantle correctly and move upstairs and reassemble. (I did it myself in the end 2 hours on my own!!

The staff were incompetent and slow apart from the lead hand who was great.

The rest kept stopping every 2 hours for breaks that lasted over 30 minutes.

Which added to the time needed to complete the move.

Never be tempted to use this company as they were dismissive to me on the telephone when I complained and gave me the run-a-round.

You get what you pay for...Cheap but no proper covers just bubble wrap, not enough boxes allowed etc etc .

humor, and made the whole moving experience by far more enjoyable, that they were also one of the cheapest quotes we received, and a very competitive price. good service provided by OTEX removal ,delivery staff were pleasant and showed care with their items being transported. i would recommend them without hesitation. a fantastic service, which took the hassle out of having to do research will use this service again ,as required.if we were move again, OTEX removal would be my first and only choice.

neighbours used OTEX removal last 5 year and recommended them. we were then impressed by online reviews and the efficient quotation services and pleased that boxes and packing materials would be included and delivered, as it made the process so much easier without worrying about extra cost. we needed to request more boxes beforehand, as the initial bathch ran out but these were delivered speedily, which was great. the inclusion of boxes and packing materials was a big part of our decision to use OTEX fast response and helpful advise. They were excellent - positive attitude, helpful and efficient. And careful with our belongings. We'd definitely want their help if we moved house again!
