I've had an awful experience with Muvus.co.uk/ They moved me at the end of august. The 2 operative who turned up clearly weren't trained, just 2 men with a luton van. They have caused irreparable damage to a very expensive dining room table by stacking chairs on it without covering it and mangled a zinc shed I had, the rook is all buckled and there are swathes of paintwork missing off it.

I complained by sending, so far, 13 emails, each time copying in 5 different members of staff. I have sent coloured photos of the damage. I have left 8 voicemails and have had no response. I sent a recorded delivery letter which was returned "unknown" from the address advertised on their website. I put a rating on Trust Pilot and Muvus contact them to say they had never heard of me and to remove the rating. I provided Trust pilot with a copy of my contract and my payment receipts and the rating was re-published. I have now made a claim through the small claims court and they are returning court papers from the address that is still on their website.

This company is not to be trusted with your valuables or indeed with your money. They are charlatans and dishonest. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I get the feeling there is one guy, named Shawn who is the salesman, operations manager, and the removals guy. But on the website, it's made to look like a bigger organisation.

Booked these guys to move house, they never turned up. Tried calling LOADS of times, the number on their website goes through to someones Giff Gaff mobile phone voicemail.

Did eventually speak to Shawn - dispite him admitting they'd failed to deliver the service we'd paid for, they wouldn't give us our money back.

Please please please do not use this company they are terrible and provide a poor service. We booked and paid in advance for them to carry out our move and they did not turn up. When I called on the day to complain i was offered no apology but rather a pathetic explanation that the booking was made for 3rd Sep 2004 (11 years ago). We were left stranded. I have since been trying to get a refund and still a month on have not received it. This company is truly the worst. Honestly please do not use them. There are more reliable moving companies out there The customer service team on the phone are also terrible. You can never get help from them. Giving it one star is one too many! Worst company EVER!!!!

Like with others they damaged some expensive furniture. 7 months on no sign of the insurance claim they pretended to file or any response to emails and phone calls. 

NEVER USE UNLESS YOU WANT A HORRIBLE MOVE

They damaged all our furniture. The driver was not himself!

Rubbish service they could not have been worse!

We sent them to court to get our money back.

They are just a 3rd party organiser with no discipline and no idea what is going on.

This company went from bad to worse they said our move of over 200 miles would be done over 2 days as we requested then changed their minds and wanted more money for the benefit then after having to constantly chase them for details it gets to moving day and instead of a large lorry as booked we get 2 Luton vans and 2 men who proceed to ram all our things into the vans and crammed them to the roof so much so that the shutter on the van didn't want to shut but hey give it a couple o good slams and there you go. Any way 7 hours later we arrive at the new house to find everything has been dumped into the dining room on top of each other and several items were damaged beyond repair and some that were to be "taken special care of" were damaged or being used to prop up heavy boxes etc. So I contact muvus to complain and put in a claim under insurance with photos and evidence well 13 weeks later and they won't even talk to us and when they do answer the phone it's always someone will chase it up and call you back which they never do.... stay away watchdog is next

When I first got my removal quote online, it was immediately followed up with a phone call. Then three subsequent calls a day for the next week until I made a decision to use them. They were the best price and now I understand why.

On removal day, the two men they sent over were punctual and polite but they were not removal men. Just two guys with a van.

However, hey managed to get our items to our other house in good time. A few were stacked awkwardly but we let this slide.

When it came to us inspecting close, our leather sofa had been ripped and our bed was filthy due to not being covered.

We took photos and sent them on to Muvus. Have they responded? Not once. They couldn't leave me alone before the sale, now it is done they don't respond. As another user has said, do not use this company. Pay a bit more for some professionals.

This was the worst experience of our lives so far!

We found muvus through the internet and now wish I had scrolled past their page. I wish I had read the reviews on this page before booking my move with them too! Do not be fooled by their website.

We booked with muvus through a lovely sounding lady on the phone. She went through all the options they offered with us and took all our details. Based on our conversation she advised us on the size of the van we would need to move house and we agreed on a price.

We paid in advance and were told that somebody would contact us prior to our move to confirm that everything was in order. This never happened! Nobody contacted us to confirm our moving arrangements. I had to contact them myself and confirm the inventory. Still nobody called me or emailed me to say that everything was ok for my move.

Moving day came and low and behold the van that turned up was the wrong size and far too small. As it was the most stressful days of our life so far we beleived the removal men who said that they could do 2 trips in their van and that it wouldn't be a problem. We beleived them and proceeded with our move.

The van was loaded up with half of our stuff and the removal men waited for the green light to go to our new house to unload.

During the final stages of the unloading I had a very unpleasant call from a chap from muvus.co.uk. Unfortunately I dont have his name but he was the most awful and unpleasant man I have ever had to deal with. He said that as the removal men had taken longer than they normally would with a move like ours we would need to pay more money. He was not prepared to listen to anything I had to say and threatened us with a court order if we didnt pay the extra money. He said that our belongings would be seized and sold!! Now bear in mind that half my household belongings were on the drive of my old house and in my next door neighbours house because they didnt fit into the wrong van that they had sent in the fitrst place.

We were forced to pay the money as the removal men were told not to carry on unloading our things until we paid. We were basically held to ransom - it truly was a horrendous experience. We finally got the rest of our things in our new house and I would never in a million years recommend these people to anybody. Tell all your firends and family, share this on sites that they are not to be used again! Thanks for reading.

Worst experience ever. Muvus has a professional looking website and person on the phone but provided us with an expensive, nightmare service in north London. Everything went wrong, the team was unprofessional and fighting in our house, they didn't have the right tools for dismantling, didn't get the job done in the agreed time (a full day!) and we had to help carry things up and down the stairs, damaged the hallway and some of our furniture beyond repair ..... . After all was done and months of arguing, they did not pay for the repairs of the house and found some loopholes for not paying for our broken furniture. STAY AWAY!!!

From start to finish was very much smooth. The guys did a great job with the packing and unpacking, not one thing smashed or damaged!!!! I'm very happy, thank you Muvus.. It's was a lovely way to start a new home!
