I would not even give it 1 star.

They broke and damaged almost all my expensive goods furnitures. I am only mentioning a few here:

I have evidence of everything and that includes pictures and voice recordings and emails I wouldn't attach the pictures here but I am more than happy to share it so everyone knows the truth.

1:They broke my TV and it was expensive HD 4K 55inch LG, costs over £3000, which is my only entertainment I am a single and disabled mother for one 1 child. Living together with my mother. They literally look all our stuff and drove off, I had to call police and the police brought them back because I managed to ring quickly.

I am a quick person never do I like to call police but I had no option. What upsets me is I spoke with them ready the positive reviews on their website which is spam. I thought it's a good company so I told them the location size of house and list of items and everything to the smallest detail, they suggested a lorry with 3 men, 5 hours £480, but I got a quote for 6 hours £300 with leader removal person name: I ended up booking this awesome company which I would recommend.

The handy moves co uk is the most unreliable rubbish company ever. They broke all my expensive stuff and all the rubbish furniture I told them I did not want to be moved, I trusted them due to my disablity I found out later or to late that they actually removed all of the items I didn't wanted,now I have to pay for someone to remove it.

My friends who are like my two brothers helped me to move the two tv which is expensive and my only entertainment.

They brought the TVs safely to my new home, but the handy moves co uk driver admitted he broke my TV and said he was sorry because as he was moving a one part of my bed to be exact the bed side, it Landed on my Tv and broke it. Now he said not to worry because their insurance will cover the expenses but instead of at least being sorry for what happened they wrote me email saying it is not our responsibility because we didn't move the TV, however I never said you did. It's like do they have a right to break something which belongs to me and is in my new home in a corner safely not in the way of anyone. I don't know if it was accident or revenge for being forced to bring back MY stuff after I rang police. The most rude people I ever experienced,the lady who doesn't know me nor have she ever meet me is judging me because I'm disabled she said she was the manager.

My mother noticed the 3 men closed the doors of the "lorry" and our fridge one table and two warderobes was still not in the lorry, and the lorry was only half full, lots of space remaining. All the time since they came the driver was on the phone and he would speak 10-15 min each time and the would ring the office every 20mins, just waisting time technique. After my mum said hello what are you doing? They moved the one small tall fridge and table. They left the two warderobes which wasn't our deal, to begin with. I got a call from the same lady to say you need to pay for 11 more hours and the lorry needs to come twice, I said to her that was not our arrangement. I was told you pay £300 deposit and then the estimation is 5 hours if the workers needed to work more then I had to pay about &99 per hour. Not for the lorry to come again there was no need, so I said 2-3 hours more if required I will of course pay for that.

They took money from my account without my permission and the worst part is they never moved my two wardrobes which is another cost £1000 for me whereas I clearly explained I would of course pay extra for the hours required to assemble the wardrobes after moving it to my new home.

The manager which I got her voice recording said to me you are playing up because you don't want to pay because you don't have the money in your bank account.

First of all I do have the money our initial arrangement was to bring cash money which I did, but then last minute I was told to pay with card which I did. All she knew was my disability I was so upset because who is she to judge me and know how much money I got in my bank account. I am highly educated all in my family are educated,my sister is barrister my mum architect and Doctor, with money in my account and at that time I had paid her the deposit and because the lorry was half empty there was more than enough space to put the wardrobes.

I endeded up paying another company to assemble the furniture which they promised to assemble and never did.

I have hired Handy Moves for moving house from Leyton to Plymouth last month and here I want to share my experience with this moving company as this was the first time using their services.

They were extremely professional and I knew I could rely on them throughout the entire moving process. From the moment I've received a quote from from to the actual moving date, I had not reasons to complain or worry that things may not go according to plan.

The movers who turned up at my address were looking professional and arrived with just 15 minutes delay from the appointed time, which is considered being on time, giving the traffic and way of driving around London. The guys were from Eastern Europe, but spoke decent English, so communication was not an issue. They were actually a relief to have around and helping me on such imprtant day such as the day when my entire family is moving house!

I had full confidence in the movers doing their job and taking care of our furniture pieces and belongings, loading and unloading them in their van, which was very stressful process as a whole.

I would certainly hire them again if need such service, as well as recommend the company to my friends and relatives..

What a wonderful group of moving guys!

They came over at the appointed time and date, after detailed phone booking arrangement and planning of our moving day with a friendly customer representative. Unfortunately, I can’t recall the names of the guys who came to move us, but I would like to express my and my husband's positive feelings towards them, as they made us feel safe and worry-free during such a stressful time for the entire family.

This moving company handled our entire move professionally. The moving guys were fast and personable. The whole moving day went completely stress free, only because of them, so thank you through this positive review is the least I can do for them!

The moving company of Handy Moves were recommended to us by friends of ours who were also happy with their service. Their team was polite and friendly from the very start, they took great care of all our stuff. There was nothing broken, we were really impressed by their professional manner of work during the whole time.

The guys who took care of the packing and moving were quick and efficient and the price they gave us was good compared to other companies we’ve used in the past.

I really have no reason to be unhappy about the service and attitude I've received by any single person I came across while having my move organised and carried out.

Definitely use them!

What started out as a fairly promising move experience turned out to be a nightmare. After uncovering what was a very sensitive issue with one of the removals men, the handling of the issue by the office was appalling.

Instead of approaching it in a rational way and allowing for further discussions, all they cared about was payment of the remainder of our invoice. They wouldn't let the men leave until we had agreed to pay and even when I asked them not to take the remaining balance until we could talk through the potential issues, they took it anyway WITHOUT approval.

The Terms and Conditions are exactly what you would expect from such a tin-pot operation and, of course, are all weighted towards the company being paid at any cost.

The complaints 'procedure' is non-existent and laughable. Go to a bigger company with a better reputation and some idea of what customer care means.

If you are looking for a professional removal company, do not use Handy Moves. They moved us about 10 miles, sent too small a vehicle, even though we supplied a complete list of what we wanted moving, took far longer than their estimate as they required multiple trips, didn't have any sheets to cover carpets (as it was raining at the time of the move this meant both houses were left a mess), and a lot of the furniture arrived dirty.

And they wouldn't unload the van at the destination until we paid in full. Saying they would drive off with the furniture. Avoid.

Handy Moves moved me earlier this week, on Monday it was and I must say that the serivce I received all the way through I told them good bye was fantastic. Moved from Croydon to Wandsworth and hired moving plus packing service, giving the fact I have 2 kids to look after. The packers came and took good care of my items and the removal staff were very reliable. The moving team turned on time and the moving day happened to be stress free event rather than a hectic experience, so I can say that hiring this company was worth every penny.

I have not used removals service for five years and now when I was in need of removal company to have my household moved, I had to promptly find one. I felt so lucky when I came across Handy Moves. The agents on the phone were so friendly and so I was not let down when the moving team showed up smiling at my doorstep on the day of my move. Everything regarding the move went smoothly and I never thought that moving could be such a pleasant activity! Thanks guys!

I have used Handy Moves to move from Manchester to London and the service was prompt professional and cost effective. There was no damage to anything. They arrived on time and did the job patiently, they looked after my delicate furniture. I am impressed - they arrived on time and did the packing very quickly. Value for money is also on point, so I am certainly recommending them to all my relatives and friends!

Handy Moves could turn into a life savior when you are in a terrible, traumatic life situation switching houses. This was exactly the case with us and our removal, Thank God I have wonderful friends who recommended this company in order to take me out of the depression I was in. All went well, except the little delay at the beginning. The original starting hour was 8:30 which caused the driver and the porter some problems with arriving on time due to the London traffic.The good news is all finished in almost the same time as the predicted one.
