Its A Shame

Its such a shame, I worked for CEM years ago before they were taken over and we had such a good relationship with our office portfolio and now it seems its all fallen apart since it got taken over. I feel sorry for all my old clients many of whom became personal friends. Shame on your Peverel, we cared about our clients and youve ripped the company apart

County Estate Management no longer exisits but after a break in at the weekend in my flat with no emergency number to callI realise that the same people working at CME are not working at Marlborough. These people are AWFUL, have no compaassion or dide of how to treat people. Do not buy/rest a property if these people are invloved

Do Not Use County Estate. There Was No Option To

Do not use County Estate. There was no option to give them zero stars, so I have had to pick one stars for the ratings here. They are the most inefficient, unprofessional company I have ever come across. Our building was managed by them for many years and experienced gross mismanagement, lack of response to correspondence, problems processing insurance claims, issues continually not addressed, finances wrongly collected - this list goes on. Their staff are unmotivated and do not take responsibility for the properties they manage. We have moved to a new Management Agent (Urban Owners) and it is like a breath of fresh air.

What Can I Say That Others Haven't Already Stated

What can I say that others haven't already stated on this site.I am in the sad position of not only being a leaseholder with them as agent but was once a contractor-and so where do you want me to start.I am also a professionally qualified person in the construction industry of over 20 years.

*I hear friends and family of staff doing works.

*Quick to make legal claims if we withhold payment.

*Works get repeated without consultation or advise if we are paying twice!

*We see the same old professional adviser charging extortionate prices for very little service and then trying to hood wink some of us!!

*We see staff claimimg to undertake professional diagnosis of problems they have no experinec for ie fire risk assessments.

* As leaseholder you never get to see, tender return documents, let alone maintenance specifications etc.

*I have been waiting 4 years to be paid for works I have done-no letter, e-mail apology. I just get 'we don't manage this any more it is not our problem'. However, they are quick to flash the professional membership badges and qualifications.

No matter the bright side is, I started to do my own block management and have now picked up 4 blocks in over a year, have proper procedures in place for tendering with contractors etc and think it is going to be a good year!!

If You Are Thinking Of Becoming A Contractor To Th

If you are thinking of becoming a contractor to this company dont. They dont pay, claim they have never recieved invoices despite having them when you call, they never call back and make up complaints and problems to stop paying. Also they lie about you to residents to cover up their own mistakes. These people are the worst clients I have ever known. DO NOT SUPPLY THEM

Being A Contractor For County Estate, I Can Say Th

Being a contractor for County Estate, I can say they are the worst I have EVER worked for. I warn anyone thinking of using them to go elsewhere, and anyone who is using them to fire them. The complaints are endless for this incompetent company. Myself and other contractors can wait up to 5 months for payment, excuses vary from lost estimates/invoices, bank details/cheques misplaced, or just'it'll be in your bank next week'' story. Amongst other things I know that some (no names given) are receiving'back handers''!! I am extremely angry with this company and hope that something will be done to stop this from happening to anyone affected.

Hello, if you have had past dealings with the Tunbridge Wells branch of CEM please comment. I am dealing with the regional manager/ associate director of that branch 2000-2010 and would greatly appreciate feedback.

after reading these comments i to would also like to add something in reply, i have worked for county estates management for 7 years as a contractor, and i agree they paid so slow up to 6 months was the normal , i am after 7 years just about to close my business due to losing all my work because i refused to give in to a new property manager who wanted back handers on his sites , i told him it was illegal and not morally right to take funds which should be used in the up keep of peoples homes!! as a result i have lost everything and the property manager is now sitting pretty using companys who will pay for the work , i have worked hard and been honest to my sites and feel so let down by the system as greedy property managers are not happy with a good wage a fully expensed car and phone and all the other perks they get,

its the lease holders i feel sorry for and all the people that are being ripped off
