We chose this company because they said their business plan was based around organising open days where several potential buyers who where in a position to proceed would be shown round.

We had done our research and told their senior valuer the price we wanted to achieve. We even negotiated a discount on their fee, in his words to “incentivise” them to reach our desired price or better it.

We pitched the price below this figure because we were led to believe that an open day was standard practice shortly after a property was advertised.

We live in a great area, near good schools, the Metrolink and a ten minute walk into the centre of Chorlton. Our house is a turn-key property with a large private garden and decorated & developed to a high standard.

We didn’t even get a courtesy call from them by way of introduction.

We were told a couple was coming for a viewing and on our return expected a call to see what they thought. Nothing.

It was only when I checked my phone that I discovered an email saying the couple had cancelled.

We had been on the market a fortnight, when we received an email (again no call) advising us of our “options”. In reality they were advising us to drop the price by £20k. After two weeks!

I went in and challenged the owner & member of staff about this.

Only a week before the owner had said everything was calm & fine and it was only a fortnight, etc, etc.

It transpired that they hadn’t spoken to their senior valuer, had no knowledge of our required asking price & didn’t know he had agreed the discount in their fee if that target was reached or bettered.

The owner said he could fully understand why I was so unhappy.

I asked why, if we were told on November 8th by the valuer that there would be an open day, that by December 1st, nothing had happened. The owner said they hadn’t held an open day in the past two weeks.

We were appalled by their lack of communication both with us and internally. It was clear they just wanted a quick sale with no regard to what we wanted.

We decided to come off the market & will try again in the next year when hopefully things will have improved economically.

We certainly wouldn’t go near this outfit again.

Don't even know where to begin, this estate agents managed to get every single thing wrong at every opportunity! We decided to take a flat after a viewing, originally we found out we would need a guarantor, and we submitted an offer accordingly with one member of staff. After a few days we were told, by another member of staff, that the landlord was happy with the arrangement, only to then be told by yet another member of staff that she didn't know there was a guarantor and so she needed to let the landlord know, at this point the landlord agreed once again that it was fine. Then we were not contacted for days and only when we pestered them did we find out any more information, they managed to get the email address of the guarantor wrong, TWICE, which delayed things further, and then after that guarantor was deemed unsuitable, we had to find another, once again paying the non-refundable guarantor fee, on top of the fee we had already payed for their appalling service and complete incompetence. The final kick in the teeth was an email saying, nonchalantly, that they had told us the deposit was the wrong amount and it was going to be £100 more, despite the advertisement and several emails informing us of the supposedly incorrect price, however, it was only AFTER we had paid non-refundable fees that someone finally managed to spot their mistake, which in itself is shambolic and meant we could not back out. Every member of staff had no idea what was going on, would only provide information after we followed it up and mistakes were made at every opportunity, all in all, we paid an extortionate amount of money to do all the work ourselves, only to then be told of yet another mistake. The staff here are the epitome of incompetence.

Rented a House in the Beveridge Street, Manchester. When I was leaving the property earlier, JP & Brimelow placed a new tenant 2 weeks before the letting contract ended. JP & Brimelow denied vehement on the phone the property was rent out.

I visited the new tenants and they confirmed to live there before my contract ended. Result: my Solicitor got work to deal and take this to the court with final result. Money doesn't matter to me.

The next time when I rent a accommodation then only with the largest Letting Angency in this Country.

Letting my house and asking these people to manage it was the worst job I have eer done in my life. Rather than getting money end of each month, I was asked to pay them as well. Initially, they said this is the best house, but when tenant destroy it, they could not control the destruction and even help them.

End of 6 month, I had my house back inhabitable and needed a lot of work doing.

Moreover, there is no appropriate complain procedure. I have wrote many times to head of department as well. Finally no outcome except wasting my time.

Hope nobody try them ever again.

In a nutshell they were superb.

From the outset on initial survey they were polite, professional and frank. They made us feel they WANTED to sell our house without ever giving the hard sell.

Graham carefully took on board our opinions.

They were reasonable with the fee structure (again took our views on board).

He took care of all viewings, always kept in contact.

We were not pushed to accept the first offer, but the RIGHT offer.

Once accepted the Senior Negotiator (Pauline)was absolutely incredible.

She kept in touch throughout. She was ruthless in chasing all the solicitors and buyer on my behalf and even fending off hassle from my vendor's agents etc. She was responsible for significantly reducing the stress of a very tense time, and when she was away for any time the rest of the team always kept up the work.

I absolutely made the right choice going with this team and I recommend them unreservedly.
