Nightmare!!!!!

Please do not waste your precious time with these demons! They will extort money from you and rip you off at any given chance they find!!! This is a warning, please save yourself the headache! I wish i read the reviews before i rented from them! I learned the hard way so save urself and run the other way! Do not be decieved by thier kind appearance its all a sham!!!! O and i strongly believe that all the good reviews they have were written by themselves. Don't believe anything good they say, they are all liars.

Really Disappointing

I would definitely NOT recommend this agency.

There is 2 unbelievable things that happened.

The first one is when we were leaving our flat, the agency started showing our studio without telling us when they were coming! What if I am having a shower? or sleeping? I sent an email to ask her to let me know when they were coming to show the studio, and she said they did NOT came on that day?? Excuse me? that is even worse! Someone is coming with a lady to show her the studio, with our keys... and it wasn´t the agency??

The second one is about our leaving date. In our contract clearly says our tenancy ended on the 31st of December. I asked her to have our check out on that day, but she said that day was closed so I had to have the check out on the 30th. I understood, and ask for the check out around 5 pm, but she literally answered to me: "You will need to have the room completely vacated and keys returned by 12:00 at the latest on the 30th. 5pm is out of hours and out of question unfortunately."....

well, i am paying until the 31st, but i need to leave my studio before 12 one day before? I really dont understand that....are you giving me back one day payment?

Honestly I am really disappointed with this, as I used to be happy with the agency before.

Also any repairments that need to be done take at least a month to be fixed!

Robbers!

By mistake I have overpaid £1,609 in rent after my tenancy ended and JD would not give it back after 24 days, NOR RESPOND to any of my emails! Robbers! Unprofessional! The only way to communicate with them is through court! AVOID!!!

Any Reparation Take 5 Weeks +

My heating broke 3 weeks ago (now is mid December) and until now JD did not manage to fix it. It is not the first time something breaks, but the firm is always very irresponsible and takes min 5 weeks. If you're ok just to pay rent but get no service in return, JD is the right choice

Dear JDproperty, i am not sure how much credibility you should get after trying to overcharge me almost 1,000gbp for rent. On heating, I assume you will not deny that I have requested to deal with all reparations myself at least 10 times as the parts were readily available from the building developer. However, every single time you've responded with refusal and threats of potential consequences leaving me without heating for 5 weeks. Needless to say that temporary heating wasn't effective but cost me 200gbp in electricity bill and lung infection over Christmas - would you like to cover the costs?

Hi, thank you for your comments, we welcome any feedback which will improve our service. We do take your feedback on board and will ensure that any maintenance issue are always dealt with swiftly. You are aware of the reasons behind the delay in your heating being repaired. Unfortunately we are restricted to 3rd party timescales when parts need to be ordered for discontinued items as well as working with 3rd party suppliers in order to get the matter resolved as quickly as possible but unfortunately your system is not as straight forward as most and presented a number of challenges. You were however provided with temporary heating as soon as we were informed about the delays in delivery and this was very early in the process, I think you will agree that the statement of you being without heating for a full 5 week period is a bit unfair. I am sure you will agree based on our communications that it is evident we acted extremely fast at each stage of the process but were unfortunately limited to external factors.

Very Happy Agency

Happy with the overall experience while renting through JD Property. There were a few issues when viewing the property when keys were taken by another agency and not returned but I suppose these things happen. The agent was very professional and seemed to know what he was talking about so there were no surprises.

Thanks for your help in finding me a great property!

PS. Admin girls are very friendly and thorough.

Honest Agency, Great Overall Experience

Me and 3 uni friends just rented through them, from start to finish everyone i dealt with was great, they were very knowledgeable and were always available to answer our questions and seeing it was our furt time renting, we had a lot lol. We paid our funds in cash just before moving in and what i found really honest was that despite all 4 of us counting our funds thinking it was correct we actually overpaid by £200. The lady could have just kept quiet and taken the money but they double checked everything and made us aware we overpaid straight away and returned the money! I dont think many other agents would have done this. We have now moved in and all is great! Thanks guys for a great experience, you clearly do care about your customers and it shows

Terrible Experiece!!!!

I would never recommend this agency. The worst customer service ever. The girl who has been assigned to us was rude, helpless. She didn't know how to do her job properly. She couldn't ask any of our questions about the house, a letting agent suppose to know what they are selling. We gave a deposit one month before move in. We agreed to move for a certain date, as it wasn't finished the house we "underlined" we wanted to move when it was completely finished. THREE days before they called us saying sorry house is not ready you can't move on the date agreed. Saying it wasn't their fault, the landlord didn't tell them in time, it is part of their job make sure the property is ready in time and tell us in time. So we arranged another date saying property will be ready. Obviously we moved in and still there are people working inside the house. We took the house because was completely refurbished and new furniture with a reasonable price.

Slow, Rude Staff!!

The member of staff I dealt with here was very rude. She was very short and sarcastic with me in emails and on numerous occasions she told me to do certain things myself. For example, she pressured me into paying the deposit for the property quickly, and I was still waiting for confirmation of receipt three days later! She became annoyed at me for chasing her for a receipt of payment, and then told me to contact the land lord myself, even though she hadn't supplied me with any contact details for him!! I'm sure anyone can appreciate its a worrying three days when such a huge amount of money had left my account and she couldn't tell me where the money had gone!!?

I had an agreement to move into a property on a certain date, but due to their slow service, it took a further two and a half weeks of sleeping on friends sofas before the contracts were available to sign- even though she told me I HAD to pat extra for a fast-track service with referencing. All of my referencing details were provided on the same day and it took 5 days for the staff to process them.

Worst Service - Zero Value For Money

Terribly disappointed from their service. Their motto is to get the tenants to the landlords at highest possible price and get high commission.

They work just for landlords not on tenants behalf. Avoid their service..

The Worst Experience Ever

I have been living in managed property by JD Property for three years. During this time I had vast amount of problems especially with issues dealt with Donatina.

Every single time I had a problem with something in the flat it took her a month to get back to me or did not bother to contact me at all.

There was a time when I had dump on my window seal, so I call her and ask for help. She said she will get back to me so I waited week and another week and another week and eventually I got tired of waiting and I treated by myself. Then I spoke to one of her colleague, because she was not available and I informed them about problem being solved. Few weeks later the builder came and he said that he came to fix the dump. I explained the situation so then he went. Few weeks later I received an invoice for refuse entry. I don’t really understand why when the builder was inside my flat!!!

Another very annoying and disappointing thing when I was trying get my deposit back, so few forms were needed to fill in. It took her about five days to forward it to me and when I called her to ask how things are going, her exact answer was: I have to prioritise my job, when I find time I will deal with you.

Donatina has got no manner nor do customers service what so ever, so if you are planning to use JD Property do not under any circumstances deal with Donatina.
