Shockingly Bad. They Now Operate Under The Name Om

Shockingly bad. They now operate under the name Omega Investments (probably changed it due to the volume of bad reviews on the internet) and they're based in Camden. Rude, unprofessional and slippery. Forget about getting even the smallest repair done without an enormous headache. I was SO pleased to leave them. Avoid at all costs.

Avalon Lettings Is A Terrible Landlord! Took Mon

Avalon Lettings is a terrible landlord! took months to fix a broken light fitting in the kitchen/lounge. This meant that we couldn't even cook after 18:00 all through the winter!! You may as well share a sleeping bad with a homeless person- they'd probably make a better landlord!

Since We Moved Into Our Property We Have Experienc

Since we moved into our property we have experienced nothing but appalling service from Avalon. Not only is the property in a horrific state of repair, but Avalon have made this worse by taking literally months to resolve every issue, even those of an urgent nature. We are constantly fobbed off by Avalon, with the excuse that the landlord is out of the country. They have no weekend telephone number, and when questioned as to what we would ever do if, say, the house was burnt down on a weekend and the landlord was abroad, the girl at Avalon responded, "Well, you could call the fire brigade". That attitude pretty much sums up the service we have received. I would never let a property from Avalon again.

I Am Currently Renting A Property Managed By Avalo

I am currently renting a property managed by Avalon lettings, Camden.

The service I am receiving is a disgrace. The flat was in a state of disarray on moving day, with the management agent admitting there was not sufficient time for them to clean, service or repair the flat before our arrival. To this date (over 4 months) an inventory still has not been taken, and we are waiting for minor repairs which we reported in the first week. Due to the lack of servicing and repairs, we have experienced countless problems.

We have also had various problems with electrical white goods, the latest lasting over a week, and after 15 phone calls from us to them, it is still to be resolved.

The staff have to be chased at every opportunity, as they do not return calls no matter how urgent the request.

The landlord also deals with problems personally, but problems are passed between the landlord and the staff of Avalon intermittently without warning. Neither party informs us, or each other, therefore a state of confusion ensues.

When repairs are carried out, the time they are done is usually before 8am, which is disruptive for everyone involved. On countless other occasions, repairmen and the landlord himself have failed to arrive when promised, or even at all, needing to be chased up for a reason as to their no-show and to re-arrange for another appointment.

We are currently talking with the CAB and looking into the possibility of legal advice regarding our situation.
