Good Advice

I am an existing client, and I have used Leap Finance to look at my options for remortgages several times. They have always given me good advice. Most recently, I wanted the best repayment mortgage with the option to pay lump sums without penalty – they came up with the best package to suit my needs. We would use them again, and I highly recommend them

Don't Use This Company

We paid for a life time service with Leap and as part of that they arranged a household insurance policy for our home. We had a water leak and tried to claim on the policy. The policy turned out to be totally inappropriate for our property so was voided by the insurance company, leaving us without cover and no means to pay for the damage to our house.

I tried to contact Leap numerous times, but they ignored me completely.

For the last two years the matter has been investigated by the financial ombudsman who found in favour (Leap were uncooperative and did not assist the investigation).

The Ombudsman ruled that Leap should pay us compensation. That was five months ago and we have received nothing.

We are about to start legal proceedings to enforce the ombudsman decision.

I hope that gives a flavour of the type of company that Leap are.

Ineffecient, inept, uncooperative, and damaging to your finances, they have no regard for their customers whatsoever.

Stay Away

I paid a lot of money £1500 for lifetime membership. I've never managed to get hold of them again..emailed..rang up...left messages..no reply..wasn't happy with my service so I have had to go to the ombudsmen for help..even they are having trouble contacting them..ombudsmen said if no reply soon...possible licence could be stopped for them..cannot get hold of them...nightmare..go some where reputable..

Fantastic Service No Matter What Came Up

I have had the pleasure of dealing with the person I dealt with to sort out our remortgage. It has not been a straight forward transaction due to some of the stipulations and requirements we had on the remortgage. The person I dealt with took all this on board and gave a solution and when through no fault of her own this turned out to not be feasible she started again and sorted out another product which has now been completed. She has taken all the pain out of what could have been a tortuous process. This is not the first time I have used Leap for remortgaging and have been more than satisfied with the service ever time. I can not recommend the service received highly enough and will definitely use Leap again for any similar requirements.

An Awful Service

After ringing 3 times and being promised a call back I sent an email to which they did not reply. I have still not had any contact with them.They take your money and then don't want to know. I am disgusted that a company can treated their customers this way. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Extremely Frustrated

We are extremely frustrated and disappointed that after paying for a Will and Estate plan 8 months ago we are still not in receipt of one. Very disappointing service and still not getting any answers.

We have also had this problem and have waited three years now, ours is now in the hands of the ombudsman and information comissioners office.

They took our money and three years on we have not received our original documents.

Don’t leave it as long as we have, they did not reyrn our calls or emails.

Went Above The Call Of Duty To Help With My Requirements

I am disabled and also in the middle of a very acrimonious divorce. I knew how difficult it was going to be for me to obtain a mortgage. When I contacted Leap Finance I was at desperation point, but the adviser took the time to listen and offered reassurance. Whilst he did explain it would not be easy, he gave me his word that he would do everything he could to help me. The adviser went well above the call of duty when he also provided a Home Tracker Report which I took with me, on his suggestion, when I attended court for my divorce. It was this report which helped me secure a fair settlement figure. The adviser was particularly mindful of my physical and mental health and offered support at every stage. People are very quick to complain when something is not right. So equally, outstanding customer service should be acknowledged and rewarded. It is for this reason that I felt I had to write this review to express my sincere gratitude for the service I have received. I am aware of the amount of work the adviser did in order to secure my mortgage offer. It has been a difficult process but he persevered for me and I will be eternally grateful. I will not hesitate to recommend the adviser. I have already passed his details to my Solicitor who is equally impressed with the service I have received.

We dealt with a very pleasant adviser who was polite and professional from the outset, he was very in-depth and knowledgable . He answered all our questions and concerns.As a result we now have now a new mortgage on a fixed rate paying much less than before. Highly recommended A+

Poor Service

I can honestly say the service from Leap Finance is very poor. Initially I dealt with a very nice gentleman over the phone who couldn't have been more helpful, very good product knowledge, and explained what was going on in the market. Arranged an appointment with a mortgage advisor for a time that suited our needs. On the evening of the appointment a lady called saying she was the diary manager said that the advisor was stuck in traffic and we would need to re-arrange as it was unlikely that he would get there on the time we agreed. Again she was very nice and helpful no problems there. When the advisor did come he seemed nice went through a meeting which went on for 2 and half hours, (we were told it would only take 45-60mins). Then we never heard from him again. He never answered any of my calls to find out what was going on. I rang the office and again they were very friendly think I spoke with the original gentleman that I had dealt with previously. Needless to say we went with a different broker.

Highly Professional And Very Supportive

he was very polite, punctual and explained everything in detail so that we fully understood everything we were going for and what the process entailed as we were first time buyers and didn't have a clue! From day one they was prompt with relaying all information and getting the forms processed so that our mortgage went through smoothly and quickly!

Good job guys.
