Pay this robbers !!!!!!

They are holding the claim for long ...and charging 25% +vat ...cheating

Asked them to deal on my behalf. Shortly after I received a letter saying that the PPI company would not deal with them direct and I would have to pursue it.

I called them in order to get the address they had sent the original enquiry to and I might as well have talked to the wall. Had to look up the address on Google and hope it was correct.

I had to send 4 letters to the PPI company myself and get the Ombudsman involved. Eventually got my money back and the PPI company sent the cheque directly to me.

Over 12 months later I start getting snotty letters saying that I owe 25% of the proceeds. I had to do all the work!

They've now instigated debt collectors.

Fortunately for me I've moved house so they're just wasting their time as they don't know where I live now.

In any case, I don't have a valid contract with them. The letter of authority that you sign at the outset contains no details of any terms or conditions, specifically no mention of fees or any other details. You can't legally enforce a term or condition if it wasn't made available to you at the time of signing so they have no legal basis on which to demand money.

I suspect that they're just using threatening tactics in the hope that I will pay up.

Hardly seems worth it when the demand is only for £60 :D

They leave you to chase claim, tell you lies, and if you win take huge slice for no work.

I think law will come back at these to repay too in the future!

Do not use. waste of time and a lot of expensive phone bills due to their major poor service. constantly harrass you for payment and issue invoices incorrect. took 5 years for 3 claims. do not use!!!!!! they need to be closed down.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY . .They take 25 % of your money and don't do anything. I had to keep chasing them about my claim which took ages. I have now received a letter demanding money for a successful claim from back in 2009 which they are saying they haven't been paid for. Im sure I've paid it as I remember them hounding me for payment. They have said I need to prove this, however I don't have a bank statement for that far back. Can they still chase me after 4 years of not hearing from them and also will my bank be able to provide me the information required for free? . .Dont need this stress as I am about to move house and have no money if indeed I do owe them

8month and did nothing,very rude on phone,i cancelled. i would nor recomend this company.

They have been demanding payment for a fee that I have not received. After a number of final demand emails, they have now sent my details to a debt collector.

I called the Ministry of Justice today.

How is this company conning so many. I wish I knew.

I have had a couple of claims with these guys. The first one went through within 3 months and I received £1900 then a bill of 600 approx for their fees. The other claim I have heard nothing about. I have asked Belmont Thornton for a copy of the signed agreement saying I agreed to pay them 25% and they have told me they haven't got one! I explained that this fee was never shown to me an they never mentioned it!! I am still receiving letters from them but none in response to my request. If I didn't sign an agreement then surely I don't have to pay

I had number of claims with Belmont, they did sweet f all, 2 years later,after i had to appeal to the Ombusman I got paid out, 30% of which Ive got to pay to Belmont !! they are lazy imcompetent, they dont reply to calls/emails/texts if u have a problem. but they SURE do perk up their game when they smell money!!!!! I wouldnt EVER recomend them
