Borderline Scam
Very cheap insurance offered. Very expensive premium rate number offers of call backs thast never happen and impossible to get a claim processed.
Having trouble locating them try:
Don't use the high rate mnumber.
After you've got nowhere complain to the Insurance Ombudsuman/trading standards and Companies house

I've used Talkcover for several years now and have both myself and my girlfriend on the same policy. We've both had to make claims for our iPhones at different times and they've all been dealt with pretty efficiently.
The only downside being that the phones I have received from them were clearly not new but refurbished. However, I'd rather have a refurbished phone in very good condition than have to deal with a broken phone or have to fork out for a new phone from a shop!!!
Not sure if this is still the case but it was the cheapest iPhone insurance I could find.

A total ripoff. Have been insured with them for two years, finally had to make a claim on their hugely expensive premium rate line. Everything about their communication is shoddy. Barely literate emails, (likely false) claims of oddly failed attempts to call me and an overall drawn out process. This has been happening for two weeks now. I do not expect to ever see this claim honoured at this stage, to be honest. If it is, I'll have spent about 2 hours and £40+ on phonecalls (not to mention their £50 loss surplus).

Utterly useless. Don't let the cheap price lead you in as making a claim is time consuming, expensive and an incredibly frustrating process.
Summary (Mobile Phone Insurance from Talkcover provided by Supercover)
Accidental damage claim took over a month to complete. Largely due to repeated failures in communication from Supercover, incompetent claims department who repeatedly made false guarantees (over the phone, in writing and all over their website) regarding how long claims take to process.
Phoning the claims line results in waiting (on a 0871 premium line) for between 15 and 45 minutes, and very rarely getting an answer when you finally get through. More disappointingly, email communications were often ignored, or replies were unreasonably late and inappropriate to the issues that had been raised. Sometimes emails were entirely contradictory, or written in language barely resembling English (with an average 4 spelling and grammar mistakes per sentence).
I am currently making a formal complaint following advice from the Financial Ombudsman Service, and would encourage all others to stay away from this insurer!

Absolute waste of money, Would rather just buy a new phone. Daughters phone broke 3 months ago still trying to claim, all they ever say is ring our claims line, which funnily is on a 0871 premium number and they like to keep you on hold for as long as possible. First time the only reason i needed to ring was to get the address to send my claim to as it was not on there website(FUNNY THAT), and as previously stated every thing is one thing at a time. Will never deal with again.

Made a claim 3 months ago with my 2 month old H T C D esire. Kept asking me to send things in including a birth certificate! but instead of asking it all in one go waited until I had sent one thing in before asking for the next. Then they decided they wanted an email version. Total time on phone to a premium number =3 hours 14 minutes costing MORE money
Now becuase the phone is 5 months old (due to a 3 month delay by them) I get 'reconditioned' phone worth the same value after paying a 25 pound excess
Do not waste your money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HORRIBLE customer service. Expensive call centre, takes ages to get through, after every chase-up by email they leave a voicemail asking me to call an 0871 number. Has been almost two months and I still have no replacement phone. AVOID!!

The Insurance Ombudsman Service are a great help, they can give you a Head Office directline telephone number, no waiting and they dont cut you off.
