E2save Add Compulsory Insurance On Their Cheap Dea
E2Save add compulsory insurance on their cheap deals and leave the onus on you to cancel by contacting CPW. The insurance is often wholly inappropriate to the cost of the phone (i.e. £7pm for a £10 phone!). The sods will take money until the day you die of you don't spot and cancel it. In my opinion their insurance policies are worse than many already punished by the ombudsman. They use weaselspeak and refer to clauses buried in the contract. e2save are evil for making their money in this way and CPW are as guilty for knowingly nmis-selling these products. I'll never use either of them again and advise any readers to do the same. I had +-24 months of premiums deducted, silly of me and bloody irritating since the phone and cpw contact are long gone yet they kept taking my money. Avoid them both!

I Have Just Recently Put In For A Claim With Cpw L
i have just recently put in for a claim with CPW Lifeline from E2Save for my mobile nokia n96, i accidently said it was lost instead saying it was stolen. actually i dropped and a passer by picked it up and i have reported it lost instead stolen. now the company said they cant do anything about it but i am not happy with this at all because it was not my fault human error. now that person is happy with my phone and i am left with having to pay for it. i actually thought leave him out of it because i saw him pick up the phone and i told him it was mine but he refused to give me back my phone! i am very unhappy! and hope you can sort this matter out for me!

My Mobile G600 Was Stolen, And I Reported This To
My mobile g600 was stolen, and I reported this to the police and called to have my mobile blocked first thing on Monday morning (8.12.08) I went into Carphone wearhouse with my crime number on the same day to put a claim in on my insurance which is with lifeline, I was told that my claim had been refured for 72 hrs!! I then returned 72 hrs later only to hear my claim had been declined for the simple reason that my call to block my phone had not been logged, nor was the phone blocked! Carphone warehouse have a record of this phone call so why was this not the case with the insurance company? What did they do on this 72hr review... obviously nothing at all! Due to someone ' s incompetence to do their job correctly I am now with out a contactable telephone number... and no phone... and yet I ve been told that I will still be getting charged my monthly line rental! I ' ve have NEVER once been late paying my phone bill and yet I still haven ' t had an apology for not blocking my phone, and I assume that I will still be charged for the calls I did not make! You are quite happy to take money as quickly as possible from my account and yet as a customer that is sensible enough to take out insurance, gets absolutely nothing in return! You are in breach of your contract to me!
I would like to be contacted ASAP to resolve this matter which is completely unacceptable! I have done nothing wrong, MY phone was stolen 'and I am being made to feel like a criminal! I was a very happy customer before all this has happened and I do not want to take up a business else where, but as I'm sure you can agree that it is not my fault that a simple phone call was not logged!

I Have Lifeline Complete (the Most Expensive Polic
I have Lifeline Complete (the most expensive policy) and having lost my Nokia 8800 I was offered an 8600. I refused to accepted this and was eventually offered an N95 8GB as I 'had been treated poorly'. Imagine my surprise when Lifeline then refused to honor their offer - they don't deny making the offer. One manager even said that the N95 8GB wasn't in stock and he had no way of knowing if they would ever get stock. Eventually they came clean and told me that the handset was just too expensive.

I Bought A Mobile From E2save And Took Advantage O
I bought a mobile from e2save and took advantage of their free insurance for 3 months and then 5.99 per month. I had my phone taken from my coat pocket but as there were no witnesses I was given a Property Lost in street crime reference number by the police. I tried to claim on the CPW Lifeline insurance policy but was told they don't cover loss even though they use phrases like " 1 in 3 phones are lost or stolen" and "you need cover for calls made if the phone is lost or stolen" in their brochure! I know it's my fault and I should have looked more closely at the policy but hey - I'm a trusting soul and got sucked in by the blurb! BEWARE OF POLICY CONDITIONS WHEN YOU BUY INSURANCE!
