Western General Wont Pay My Claim

On February 12, 2016 I was involved in an automobile accident, the young lady ran a stop sign and hit me.

All the appropriate steps have been taken in resolving this issue with Western General. It has been 6 months since the accident I am still in need of medical care that I can’t get because Western General insurance haven’t paid any of the medical bills thus far and still won’t give me approval for medical attention. At this point Western General Insurance hasn’t reimbursed me for my work van.

Western General Insurance has employed every tactic to delay my claim resulting in no medical attention. First Western General changed adjusters on me after about a month, the second adjuster found reason to send claim to underwriting and for some funny reason the file was passed on to litigation where it remains now.

What’s funny about all this? The funny part is Western General already has a recorded statement from the other driver claiming fault!

At this point I am not able to work because I can’t get the medical attention I need for a concussion, whiplash and 2 bulging disc in my neck. Not being able to work I am on the brink of losing house everything!

This insurance co.is a JOKE ! BUYER BEWARE ! It took weeks to get my car repaired waiting on their responses & paperwork. You will NEVER get a call back nor will you ever get a response from anyone. They do not return calls & you will not get anyone other than constant voice mails picking up. This is probably cheap insurance but remember, you get what you pay for.There are plenty of other reasonable companies out there that are much better to deal with. I'm am shocked they are not out of business yet.

Worst Insurance Company In The World!

One of their insured was texting and driving and rear ended my car. I filed a claim within an hour. It has been more than a month and 2 dozen phone calls later, they have ignored all my attempts to get them to pay the claim. No actual claim adjuster EVER answers their phone. If you want to talk to a person, you can wait on hold for 15-45 minutes just so they can tell you they can transfer your call to the adjuster who is "not available" right now. Adjuster's voice mail says you can get help by transferring to customer service, who tells you they can not answer any questions!

Unimpressed Sincere Review

Long story short: had my auto insurance cancelled on me because of a misunderstanding with my bank that led to a missed payment. I was told point blank I have 2 options: pay the remaining yearly amount upfront or have it cancelled entirely. Of course, once I was given this ludicrous option I decided to cancel and found a much better quote and service elsewhere. Beside this, they also have terrible customer service: never received a reply to a claim I made 2 years ago; had more often than not very rude agents to deal with, with little to no patience and extremely rude in discussing my record (which is clear--now--but for the exception of a pull over speeding ticket). PLUS, my insurance consistently went up with each year of renewal.

You may be fooled into going with this company with the initial quote they give you, but beware, their premiums go up unexpectedly and customer service plus their overall policies are extremely lacking in care for the customer (I was given ONE WEEK to search for a new company...thanks western direct).

Verry Unhappy

Was in a collision 2 mos ago(his fault) I have have not gotten any not resolution. Unbelievably bad service. I assume they ignore claims hoping they will go away. Hiring a lawyer.

Worst Insurance Ever!

My car was broken into on a Wed., called insurance company same day. Was told would get a call in 24 to 48 hours. FINALLY got a call on Monday....it is now the FOLLOWING Friday and my car is STILL NOT FIXED! I asked to speak to customer service and was told "we have no customer service"...you got that right! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY NO MATTER HOW DESPERATE YOU ARE !!!!!

I Agree This Insurance Is Not Supposed To Be On A

I agree this insurance is not supposed to be on a business at all. The staff are doesnt care. It took me also 2 weeks in order to check my car. Process is soOoo slow. I wont recommend this to anyone. Please dont be a victim.

western general insurance company is a joke!! i called!! it took them 2 weeks to "only" check my car!! when i ask the company who fix the car, they say they are waiting for the insurance company to approve!! until now!! it's been 2 weeks!! i called!! the guy who does my claim always out to lunch!! no supervisor!! nothing!! i got to deal with no one!! i was really disappointed by pacific honda who actually gave me that insurance company!! i trusted honda company!! but it fails to do its job!!!

As a claimant (their policy holder hit my car), western general insurance company service is unbelievable. no return calls. it's not my fault your insured party hit my car!! it took them a week to get an adjuster to see my vehicle. then it took another week to get a response from the main claims rep. Then, they take over 30 days to reimburse me for the car rental bill. this is the worst possible experience in my life. no wonder this insurance is cheap. price and quality of service sure does balance!

People are hard to reach by phone

You will be put on hold for a long time with no response

I feel they take no proper ownership of responsibilities.
