Shearwater Car Insurance

I would avoid this company like the plague. I cancelled my insurance half way and then was hit with a 400 fee which the incompetent staff could not explain. Then was taken to court and sued whilst i was away on holiday and when i got back i had a judgement made against me and with bailiff action i now face a £1200 bill, all for a service i did not use. Best advise use moneysupermarket, these clowns will be out of business soon and they should rightly be. Cant beleive i've been done over by a bunch of wheler dealers who will be unemployed soon thanks to the internet and wiser consumer.

Contacted Shearwater after seeing an advert in Horse & Hound, My horsebox renewal came in from my insurers at £282.00.

I spoke to Shearwater, who gave me an immediate quote knocking £93 off my existing policy - and they included a "key" insurance in case i lost my keys (didnt even know that sort of thing existed!!

Would definately recommend this company

Really friendly bloke (john) - knew what he was talking about, and went over and above the call of duty. you dont get this type of service from the larger companies ive used in the past. (and he saved me £160)!!

I got the cheapest quote from Shearwater car insurance, and they were able to undercut Confused.com.

It took a long time for them to come back to us with a quote. I had to chase them numerous times, but due to the cost of the insurance we will probably continue with this company, although the service needs some work!
