*WARNING* This company uses a scam whereby they sell you insurance based upon a *DISCOUNT* Price so if you need to cancel for whatever reason they eat a lot of your deposit as they say that because they are 'brokers' they have to pay another company for your insurance.

HOWEVER: They fail to realise that this is not the customers problem as far as the customer is concerend, this company is the insurance provider.

The customer service desk is open at unconvienent times and the attitude is terrible.

The funniest thing is that I got told by them not to trust Price Comparison websites however this is where I found them!

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS INSURANCE COMPANY! If I could rate them 0 out of 5 I would. I recently had a policy out with them for a year & not only having problems with them during that time they took money out of my bank account when I told them I didnt want to renew. They then informed me that i was lack of communitcation on their end & I would be refunded by my back account, to get told days later that they are sending cheque. They charge £25.00 to change anything on your account i.e your address. The customer service is rubbish your on hold for ages then when you get to an advisor they all tell you different things, not only that they dont seem to care about your problem. I will never use this company again and I strongly advise that no-one else does. They might be cheap but they are cheap for a reason! Pay the bit extra and get what you pay for.

customer service was excellent - people are to quick to complain but not quick enough to compliment - if you actually read the terms and conditions you'll find that most of these companies are just doing what they told us that they'd do before we even signed up for them

I took out a policy online with Its 4 Me 2nd June 2010, to start 21st June 2010. I received documents quickly, but within a week I decided to go with another company. I wrote to Its 4 Me within 10days to tell them to cancel the policy, and returned the Insurance Certificate. A couple of weeks later (still before the policy had started) I got another letter asking why the direct debit had been cancelled, again I wrote back telling them I wanted the policy cancelling. I thought that was the end of it ... until a couple of weeks ago I received a demand for £120 for insurance cover from 21st June - 12th August. It's 4 Me denied receiving any of my letters, and I received 2 more demands and a threat of debt collectors. I emailed Swintons head office 3 days ago to complain, and this morning spoke to a very helpful man who has cleared all the charges, I am not however going to get my £21 deposit back, small price to pay I think? Wouldn't recomend them, customer service is appaling!

took out on line seemed a good deal at £450 with online discount of £115, unfortunately the proof of no claims arrived and they cancelled the policy claimed £50 admin, £115 discount given which was never taken? and allegedly tried to pay back £264 to the original card which failed, sent a cheque which never arrived.... took several hours of phone calls to resolve and get some money back. Would not recommend them as an insurance company in any way, stick with the household known companies who have good customer support. perhapsa league for customer service complaints would help future insurance purchasers identifying poor customer services

this a rip off company, i have bought the policy and paid a deposit and they ask for another payment within the month I made deposit then I cancelled the policy just before the month ends, now I was charged £61.38 for brokdown cover which I have never used and £168.45 for the policy , why should I pay for tythe policy which I used only 25 days. I am not happy with that

Policy came with a £60 cashback voucher, you had to fill it out and post it within 30 days of the policy starting. I did this, but still haven't received cashback. They said they haven't received form and nothing they can do. Am ringing up today to cancel policy and demanding that the £50 cancellation fee is waived

My car insurance was due on the 14/04/10. Went on Confused.com and Go Compare like I do every year and correctly input all my details. Its4me gave me the cheapest quote. I wish I read these bad reviews before going with them. Paperwork came back without my claim and convictions and I no for a fact that every thing was declared. I paid £665.15 in full and they said they will refund me £535.22 as they listened to the call and it turns out I didn't declare it. I asked for a copy of the call, they said it will cost £15. I am furious and not only that it will take them 10days to refund my money back, which I need, to get insurance out with someone else. After reading all the reviews who else thinks Its4me is a SCAM. I will be reporting them to Watchdog and make sure I pass the word round. I will be writing to the financial ombusdman.
