If I buy a £10 goody bag and don't use all the data and calls, does it carry over to next month or do I have to purchase a goody bag every month?

No carry over, but Giffgaff will tell you your usage and advise if you are better off with a cheaper Goody bag. Hope this helps

No it won't. You have to use it or lose it.

You can't carry over your goody bag, but any money credit you put on (or earn answering questions etc on the forums) lasts from monrh to month.

If I sign up for a monthly goody-bag and after a month I find it isn't working for me do I have to give notice? I am with Vodafone PAYG and they told me I would have to give one months notice should I want to change from GiffGaff.

Thanks for answering this question.

Nope, unless you set the goody-bag to recur then you don't have to do anything, if you do set it to recur then you'll need to turn it off as it will automatically take the money after that month has finished and carry on in a rolling contract fashion.

No notice is required. You can buy the goody bag for one month only.

Agree with strangelad - when you start don't setup any recurring goodybags or automatic top-ups - just top-up your balance and purchase a goodybag. If you are unhappy with GiffGaff then just stop whenever you want - the goodybag covers you for up front costs for the month so you only have to pay extra for 'out of bag' costs or if you exceed the goodybag limits. I can't believe Vodafone requires a month's notice for a PAYG deal - if you stop paying then that it is the end of your commitment. Are they talking about time required to get a PAC for number transfer? Again, all networks, AFAIK, have to provide one within 1 day of a request.

And full instructions on the website to access your PAC which will be available for 30 days before it expires. But I think you will probably love it and stay.

I'm with Giffgaff, and my goodybags automatically recur, but if you set it so you just buy one to try, then that's it.. Only lasts for one month and then you can just get rid of the sim if you don't like it :) I love Giffgaff and it's so easy to use, and easy to keep your own number :)
