“Poor Lifespan”

Bought as a replacement for old Panasonic that one day went up in smoke while using the conventional oven. This one was good size and a great buy for first 16 months until it began electrical arcing internally - not in the cooking area! Out of 12 month warranty & 20 miles into London for nearest service centre - Panasonic customer service very un-helpful and not interested in finding out why there was an electrical problem. “Magic Microvave”

I have owned/used this appliance for over 5 years. It does all the usual microwave functions with ease, but the best feature is the conventional oven. I very rarely use our "normal" oven, the panasonic is so convenient and easy to use (bear in mind I am cooking for two). With a temperature range of between 100 and 220 and timer from 10 secs to 5 hours you can even use it as a slow cooker. This is my second combi oven from Panasonic, the first one having been donated to my parents when their old microwave only oven packed in. The previous one I bought in 2001 is still going strong and looks fantastic. My parents love it too and use it for the oven all the time too. This new one I purchased is from John Lewis and I can't praise the service highly enough and their delivery service is perfection! This oven heats food well, cooks well and I use it as the main oven.
