I was after a cheap marquee company, unfortunately I ended up renting from a bunch of pirates. It all went well until they had to come and collect the marquee after the party. Previous to that, no problems, they got here in time, got me some extras wich were not previously booked, set-up and left. The marquee is not prime quality, but I was prepared for that. It rained during the party and there were no issues. Then the incredible begins. All paid on delivery, you would expect that a company will come ASAP to collect their main working tools (marquee, lights, heaters etc...) Forget it! A week goes by, the guy (apparently the owner, whom I meet on the day of set-up) is not picking up the phone, the marquee is left in my garden. Finally i manage to get a text, he is out of the country (something that seems to happen often as I read another review here reporting exactly the same), but someone will come ASAP. But no one comes. I ask for partial reimbursement, the owner agrees and tells me that he will send someone with the cash. I explicitly ask for the reimbursement to be paid via bank transfer previous to the re-collection and as expected nothing happens. I'm now going to the police to report this and denounce this company for illegal occupation of private property. Not sure what I shall do with the marquee.

My regular marquee supplier was booked so I found 10 out of 10 on the Internet. Unfortunately I did not see this review site despite trying to find out if any reviews of them other than the testimonials on their site which are obviously fake. On the day I booked them, I was able to reach them several times on the phone number they gave. I paid the deposit on Thursday and they were meant to come set up on Friday at 3pm. I tried to reach them Friday to check everything ok but couldn't get hold of them . Left several messages no reply. 3 pm came and went - nothing. My event was the next day so had to go and buy a gazebo and pay for tables and chairs from another supplier. At 7pm on Friday they sent a text saying they would be coming st 8pm. They didn't show - eventually turned up at 11:30 am on the Saturday( day of the actual event). The additional cost for chairs and tables plus the stress that my event was going to be ruined due to their unprofessional service can't be quantified. Lesson to me to search vigorously before choosing a supplier on the net. Don't make my mistake - stay clear of this company.

Hired ten out of ten Marquee's for my parents Ruby wedding anniversary party in their garden and everything went smoothly at first. They arrived the day before to set up in the afternoon, two men at first whilst the other sat in the van on his phone, one of the men putting up the marquee was complaining the whole time and effing and blinding which by all means okay everyone is entitled to a good moan but whilst there are kids around I don't feel it is appropriate yet alone whilst the customer/client is present. Marquee was filthy, had holes in and was set up in a dangerous manner- they placed some poles in my garden borders meaning if people stepped too close to the edges to the marquee they'd have fallen into the borders could've hurt themselves especially the children the marquee company knew would be present inside the marquee. Chairs were filthy we had to wipe them all down ourselves and to top it off we paid for five tables, we only got three and no tablecloths which we were told would be included, also paid for cocktail tables which were completely forgotten and not even given to us. Overall really going poorly already, they said they'd bring the extra tables and tablecloths over a little later if we paid £50 cash when they were going they didn't forget that though and knocked and asked for the money before they left, my mum asked if there was any way of getting a written receipt or just price write up on a note and they said not from them but the company owner would supply that when he come to pick the marquee up. Event went well. The dark managed to conceal some of the dirty spots a little and that was a relief. When the day came to take down the marquee we heard nothing from them. Waiting in all day for them and no one turned up, we couldn't contact them through email or phone call. My sisters and I even tried to call and left voicemails looking to hire just to get in contact with them but it turns out they blocked our numbers!!!! Blocked our phone numbers and no contact for two weeks now. Received an email the other night telling us the company owner had to "leave the country quickly" and he'd get someone to come round to take it down- which no one did. So it's been two and a half weeks and nothing. Called a different marquee company to explain what happened and get some advice and they told us about this review website and did we know about it, of course we didn't as ten out of ten Marquee's doesn't even have a review option only a fake testimonial page made of fake self typed reviews! Furious. Do not use this company. Like to take people's money, give them either nothing or dirt they've obviously bought cheap of eBay or something and run with the cash. Do not use this company!

I hired a marquee from a company called 10 out of 10 marquees. it is a company based in Beckeham Kent. I dealt with a man. It was the first time i had hired a marquee and was hiring it for my 60th birthday party. On putting the marquee up it was clear the work was shoddy, carpet uneven, weak structure and it looked awful.The furniture was damaged, chairs filthy and at least 15 of the 50 were broken(we only saw this once they had left, as they left them piled up). I commented on how filthy the marquee was you could not see out of the windows.As the weather was poor i was concerned about the rain coming into the marquee this was dismissed by saying they do not leak. There was rain after they had left and the marquee completely flooded , including the torn, dirty, uneven carpet they had put on and all the tablecloths and decorations I had placed .I rang immediately and was told they would come to sort it out as it was the day before the party. They never came despite ringing constantly.I have not heard from them since. It rained again with more flooding and the heating and lights they provided were not working due to major fuse, burning my daughters hand as she tried to open the heating it cost me £200 to repair the damage to my outdoor electrics and my daughter was left with burns on her hand. I could not use the marquee for the party. I never got any response I had paid fully upfront. In addition they came and took the marquee not on the agreed time when there was no one at home they broke entry into my garden breaking my gate. I came back and was shocked at what i found. This should have been a happy celebration it was ruined by this company. I have received no apology, no communication or reimbursement for a marquee i did not use and paid for in full and damage caused that i had to pay for. The health and safety of their electrics is dangerous .I would not wish this dreadful experience on anybody and strongly warn anybody not to use them
